  “We had a lovely breakfast here. Everything was fresh, delicious and beautifully presented. The eggs were cooked perfectly, and all the ingredients tasted fresh and high quality. The service was friendly and attentive, and the whole place was very clean, including the toilets. Sitting on the front terrace with the beautiful sea view made the experience even better. A great place for breakfast — highly recommended!”

  “What a great little spot. We are here a few times as the experience was so good. The service is very good with the staff being attentive and humouros. The food quality is very good with no issuess what so ever. Sophie was looking after us both visits. So much fun and helpful. Well worth a visit.”

  “I am a regular customer at this restaurant. I want to extend a huge thank you to the team for the delicious food, pleasant atmosphere, and very friendly staff. The new kitchen team consists of true professionals—the food is always tasty and beautifully presented. The manager is an excellent leader who is always actively involved in operations. I highly recommend this restaurant for families, gatherings with friends, or simply for a delicious and enjoyable time.”

  “Madam, Sir, During our visit to your establishment, we wanted to have a drink on the terrace. Unfortunately, only one chair was available. So I left it to my wife while I stood up. After ordering our drinks, the waitress immediately cashed the sum of £17.44 on my credit card. I immediately realised that the amount seemed high to me. The waitress explained to me that a supplement corresponding to the "service charge" had been added. I then indicated that I refused to pay this supplement. Indeed, to the extent that I had to stand for lack of seating, I did not consider benefitting from a service justifying this additional billing. So I asked for the cancellation of our order, which the waitress accepted. We waited for the payment to be cancelled. To our surprise, another waitress then arrived with the drinks. We immediately refused to accept them, recalling that the order had been cancelled and that we simply wanted to be refunded. A manager then intervened and refused any refund, despite the cancellation of the order requested before the consumption of the drinks. I consider that this situation is unjustified and does not correspond to the level of service expected of an establishment welcoming the public. I therefore ask you to refund the sum of £17.44 as soon as possible. In the absence of a satisfactory response, I reserve the right to dispute this transaction with the issuer of my credit card and to refer the matters to the competent consumer protection bodies. Looking forward to your reply, please accept, Madam, Sir, the expression of my best regards.”

  “Great place, tucked away in Sandbanks and we'll worth finding. Great place to stop for lunch after a paddleboard in the bay. Pizza was great and price was good.”

  “Lunch time, quite. The food flavoursome the fish was the star(sea bass) but the potatoes were to die for, seasoned well cooked beautifully. The photo does not do this dish justice”

  “AMAZING. AMAZING. AMAZING! We loved this place! Staff warm, welcoming, attentive and friendly. Food was absolutely delicious, I had the pork belly bites and the seabass filet- both were the best dishes I’ve eaten all year! The flavours, freshness and portions were perfect! Washed down with a mocktail and flat white- both excellent! Would definitely return and recommend! For anyone who has previously said the staff were not friendly, I’d consider this is a reflection of the attitudes they arrived with- as honestly, I could adopt them all as family, they’re awesome and incredibly friendly- a real asset to the business!”

  “5 Stars – Not Sure What the Complaints Are About! We had such a lovely experience at Lazy Jacks that I genuinely had to double-check if we were at the same place people left those low-star reviews for! There were four of us, and we had booked ahead – everything went smoothly from the moment we arrived. The service was spot-on: friendly, attentive, and perfectly timed. Starters were served, and they waited for us to finish before bringing the mains – no awkward juggling of plates or rushing us through the meal. There was no sharing platter on the menu, but the team quickly offered alternatives so we could still enjoy something together – a nice touch that showed flexibility and great customer care. Drinks were served perfectly chilled, with Prosecco arriving in its own little ice bucket like a VIP guest. Now, the food… oh, the food! The king prawns and sea bass were fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. The vegetables and salad were crisp, colourful, and clearly not just there for decoration – cooked just right and delicious. Honestly, we left happy, full, and wondering if the people leaving bad reviews just caught them on a bad day (or maybe expected a Michelin star and forgot they were by the marina, not in Mayfair). We’d happily go back. Lazy Jacks – you’ve got fans in us!”

  “After an afternoon of windsurfing at Sandbanks, we decided to unwind at Lazy Jacks, and it was the perfect choice! The atmosphere was lively yet relaxed, ideal for a post-adventure family meal. We ordered the classic fish and chips, and it was absolutely delicious—crispy batter, tender fish, and the chips were perfectly cooked. It really hit the spot after a day out on the water. I also asked for a shandy, and was pleasantly surprised when I got two different variations—one made with light beer and the other with Guinness. Both were refreshing and delicious in their own ways, offering a unique twist to a classic drink. Overall, the service was friendly and efficient, the food was fantastic, and the drinks added a fun touch to the experience. I would highly recommend Lazy Jacks to anyone in the area, especially after an active day. It’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy some excellent food and drinks.”
