  “This is a double 5* review because we visited on Christmas day and i never got round to leaving a review ..the food and service was amazing!! The quantity and quality of food for the price is insane. This was our first time going out for christmas dinner as a family and it was one of the best Christmas' we've had! We also visited this evening for my son's 11th birthday as he's abit of a foodie and loves BBK. The team went above and beyond to make it special for him which was so so kind. The food was amazing, I had the lasagne which was the best lasagne I've ever had - proper homemade! And my partner and son shared the favourites sharer board which had a good variety of foods. Againt the portion size and quality is just unbelievable. The staff are always so friendly and can't do enough for you. Thanks BBK!! Oh, and we were gutted we weren't able to give a tip as they don't accept card payment tips and we didn't have any cash - so be sure to take some cash as you'll see they very deserve much it!”

  “Absolutely beautiful 🤩 We came here to celebrate our 3-year anniversary and decided to go all out, just the two of us — and it was worth every penny. Every single bite was delicious, and that’s saying something because we’re both quite fussy eaters! The value for money was amazing, and the staff were polite, friendly, and attentive without being overbearing. It gave us plenty of time to relax and really enjoy our evening without feeling rushed or interrupted. We had a reservation at 6pm and were seated at 5:50. Drinks arrived by 6, our order was taken at 6:10, and by 6:30 all of our food was at the table. Honestly, it was the fastest service I’ve ever experienced for that amount of food — so impressive! The steaks with blue cheese sauce were the absolute stars of the show. The steak was like butter, it just melted in your mouth. We honestly wished we’d ordered extra blue cheese sauce because it was that good! The sides were just as amazing. We had chips and new potatoes, both cooked perfectly, plus spicy mac and cheese balls in a tomato sauce which were absolutely beautiful, We also had half a loaf . We then added garlic lobster on the side (worth the extra!). To finish, we had the lemon cheesecake. The fluffiest cheesecake I’ve ever had. The lemon flavour was perfectly balanced, not too strong, just right. 100% would recommend — definitely a small hidden gem. ✨”

  “Wow... What a meal... The service was amazing, especially Tia, who was very welcoming and helpful. The meals are huge! So I would recommend a 24-hour fast before going there. I would 100% recommend you go. Hopefully I'll get to try a Sunday lunch there at some point in the future..”

  “I’ve visited Butterflies multiple times before but this was my first time visiting for a Sunday Lunch. The food was lovely and service was very quick despite the busy restaurant! It was definitely worth the wait for Sunday availability and we will be returning again soon!”

  “First time visiting this restaurant after many attempts. It's always full, so you need to book many weeks in advance. The reason why, I've just discovered it when I arrived at the restaurant, is because it's so small! There isn't an enjoyable bar area, so basically you arrive and you need to be seated straight away. The decor of the restaurant is nothing special; maybe in wintertime, with the fireplace on, there's a nicer atmosphere. The Sunday lunch menu is very nice. The quality of food and the presentation are outstanding. So far, praise to the chef. Unfortunately, what ruins this restaurant is the front-of-house staff. We found them not very pleasant, not polite, and not attentive at all. We were served by so many different waitresses, and for the size of the restaurant, it's also a bit ridiculous. The whole visit was also ruined because in literally 1 hour and 10 minutes we ate a 3-course meal. We felt rushed. I understand that they need to maximize the number of covers in a shift, due to the size of the restaurant, but you also need to let the customer enjoy their meal! On top of that, there was a table of about 8 people waiting for our table to be added to another one standing next to us, talking and making noises while we were eating our desserts. I really wanted to try the main menu on a different day, but to be honest, if I were to try the meat experience that they offer, I would need to be ready for a race; no thanks! I prefer a more enjoyable restaurant, especially if I need to travel 40 minutes to reach it!”
