Customer Review Summary

Reviewers most often single out the coffee, calling it wonderful and not bitter at all, and several pair it with brunch dishes such as the Eggs Benedict with fresh salmon, the Eggs Royale on gluten free toast, and halloumi and poached eggs on toast. Close behind is the staff, described as lovely and friendly, with one reviewer saying a server quickly found a table and highchair for a toddler. Others mention a white chocolate and pistachio matcha, a smoothie, and a toasty served like a proper meal rather than in a cardboard box. Reviewers also describe the dog friendly welcome, with pup-cups and treats, and a relaxed atmosphere that suits working for a few hours. The caveats are specific. One reviewer found the tuna melt soggy from too much cheese and waited over 10 minutes for a takeaway with no updates, and another was told the WiFi is switched off at weekends despite a free-wifi board, which left them feeling stuck after ordering. One reviewer who forgot a laptop charger was lent one to borrow.

“Pretty average. Iced latte is nice, tuna melt is really soggy. You get quite a generous portion with cheese on the outside too (tbh too much cheese) but this means the bread isn't crispy and it's just mush in your hands. Had to eat with a knife and fork, couldn't finish or enjoy it. Ordered as a takeaway. They're really busy but should say to customers getting takeaway there's a long wait time. Had to wait over 10 mins with no updates until I went to ask for a refund. But by then it was almost ready. It's decent place to sit down but the experience and food is a bit average.”

“Very nice place, food looks and tastes amazing, the white chocolate and pistachio matcha is OMG sooo good!!! Lovely people work here, without their friendly approach to customers and how they look after everything, this place wouldn't be as great as it is. Thank you and definitely will recommend to family/friends as well as come back again.”

“Bustling coffee shop / cafe on the corner. The coffee is superb and there are always nice food options, from sweet treats and snacks to full lunches. The staff are lovely and there is always a nice vibe. Very dog friendly, with pup-cups and treats available for your four-legged friends.”

“Popped in for a quick lunch for my toddler while we were waiting for family. Staff member got us a table and a highchair very quickly. Nice selection on the kids menu that is priced well and the rest of the menu had plenty of options. We ordered a smoothie too which was great. I can't really comment on the rest of the menu but what we received came fast and tasted great. But overall lovely staff, comfortable setting and good food. No wonder they were so busy when we went in just before lunch time. Note: WiFi was available too”
