About Frankie's Cafè

On Edgware Rd, Frankie's Cafè is a breakfast restaurant and coffee shop serving an all-day menu that ranges from a Turkish burger to a chicken and bacon waffle and biscoff French toast. Halal options run alongside the rest of the menu. The cafe opens daily for daytime hours only, and it works on a walk-in basis rather than reservations, with a wait for a table common at busy times. Outdoor seating adds extra space for eating in, and high chairs make it workable for families with young children. Dogs are welcome inside, and a step-free entrance means the cafe suits visitors with mobility needs. Beyond eating in, breakfast is also available as takeaway for those heading off elsewhere. Coffee and other drinks are brought to the table once orders are placed. Pay and display parking sits nearby, with free parking available on Sundays.

Customer Review Summary

Diners most often return for the huge breakfast plates, with the English breakfast and the French toast named most, whether served with fruit, as a burger, or as a biscoff version. Reviewers repeatedly describe portions big enough to share and food that is seasoned well. They also name the eggs Benedict with salmon and spinach, the Avo and Chicken Salad, peach tea and fresh smoothies, and a few mention the Halal options. Close behind is the service, described as friendly, quick with coffee, and good with children. The complaints are specific. One reviewer found the coleslaw with the chicken and bacon waffle cloying with mayonnaise, and the Belgian waffle soggy under its berry compote. Another found a takeaway English breakfast standard and less hot and fresh than eating in. Queues and noise at busy times come up, and one reviewer suggests arriving early. In one visit, a son who dislikes egg had it swapped for an extra side.

“Im a local and I’ve been coming to Frankie’s for years. I have also tried most brunch spots in NW london and I’m telling you now Frankie’s beats them all. The food portions are huge. They season their food WELL and presented in the perfect way. There is honestly something for every single person (not sure about gluten free though) if you’re thinking about it don’t bother…. Just get there. You’ll never be disappointed. Perfect Sunday lunch spot! The queues goes down really quickly. I recommend the the frenchy”
