Customer Review Summary
Samosas draw the most attention, with reviewers naming lamb, chicken and vegetable versions as delicious, generous and good value, and one calling the chicken filling flavourful and perfectly seasoned. Close behind are the home cooked curries, including chicken tikka and chicken curry, which one diner describes as spiced just right with no fake colouring, and a vegetable biryani that another singles out. Coffee and baked goods also come up, with a latte called pretty good and cheaper than nearby shops, plus an almond croissant, a chocolate croissant and a Danish pastry. A fish roti is mentioned as a quick bite. Staff are repeatedly described as friendly, and one reviewer calls the cafe family run. The main complaint is narrow. One reviewer had a chicken samosa heated in the microwave, which left the outside oily and soggy, though the filling made up for it, and the same reviewer said they had tasted better lattes. Another notes that staff wrapped the curry containers in cling film so the sauce would not spill in the carrier bag.

“Really nice family run business the lady who made the coffee was very kind, the business also is really fairly priced with a regular Latte being £2 - compared to other shops nearby where it’s £3.50 minimum, food is also delicious. If you’re about go here for your coffee rather than a big company”

“Wonderful service, delicious and affordable food, the most powerful tuna on the market, I love it and highly recommend it.”

“I've been in twice now to grab something before catching the tube. The first time I just had an almond croissant which was fantastic and then this week I got one of their Chicken Samosas and a Chai Latte. The latte was pretty good, I've had better but it was also only £2 so I can't complain. The samosa was huge, about the size of my hand, (I wish I took a photo) and only £1.50. One of the workers asked if I wanted the samosa heated and I said yes. They heated it in a microwave though and fried stuff doesn't tend to microwave well. It made the outside of the samosa a bit oily and soggy. However the filling of the samosa was fantastic and 100% made up for the oil. It was flavourful and perfectly seasoned and when I finished I wished I'd bought two.”

“Delicious and great value samosas! I had two lamb samosas at £1.50 each and they were really delicious and exceptional value, one would have done, two made a very satisfying and generous lunch! I would absolutely recommend this place and will be back the next time I'm in the area to try some of their other offerings.”
