  “Just picked up from them and my chips are undercooked. First time trying them because I had the branch in Ely and loved it. This one was underwhelming because my chips are hard and as mentioned undercooked. The fish is nice tho, I got the cod.”

  “Ordered cod and chips and cheesy chips . Cod was excellent size and tasty according to my wife and chops were OK My cheesy chips was to put it in plain English absolutely disgusting . The cheese was inedible and actually made me feel sick. Some sort of pre grated cheap plasticky cheese that was horrible and inedible . Sorry never again”

  “Really disappointed by the food. The chips were soggy and bland. The cod was 70% soggy batter, it looks like you’re getting a nice piece of fish but there’s barely any fish inside. I also don’t believe we were given Cod. Overall the food was horrid and went in the bin”

  “"A total find! The portions here are massive—one 'large' fish could easily feed two people. The staff are incredibly friendly and actually seem happy to be there, which makes a huge difference. Everything is cooked to order, so it arrives piping hot. Don't skip the curry sauce; it’s the secret MVP of the menu."”

  “Ordered sausages for my son on Saturday evening, both were raw in the middle, tasted awful, luckily he said mum these sausages don't taste nice... Also done meat was very pink, threw entire meal away for safety, but took photographs.”

  “Popped in for a change and went with the shish kebab and chips top-tier decision. Meat was spot on, chips were doing their job (crispy, salty, gone in seconds). Honestly, if this place ever ran for Prime Minister, I’d vote for it. Always good, never lets me down.”

  “Horrendous, over priced tasteless fish (Definitely not Cod) but advertised as it. I and a friend ordered the £6.20 fish. We thought it came with chips. No, that wasn't explained to us when we ordered the food. Chips are £2.20 extra. Drinks are pricey too, and not many sugar free options. The shop was clean though. The man who served us had NO hat or apron. He handled the food and till without washing his hands. The outside seating area has benches and they are dirty and need to be replaced. I personally won't be recommending any of my friends fo eat there and think £ 19 is a lot for two tasteless potions of fish and chips are RIP off. This included a drink and mushy peas which were "watery"!! Awful service too . My friend and I couldn't believe it. Spending time on a laptop instead of checking the fish. The batter wasn't cook and was mushy inside. I couldn't eat it all and ended up binning it.”
