  “We came to Argo Lounge yesterday 31/08/26 after leaving another restaurant in town with great disappointment before even having our drinks served. All I can say, fantastic food and amazing coctails! Thank you to the team for turning our evening around and giving us a fantastic anniversary experience. We'll definitely be back! ❤️🍹🌮”

  “📍Argo Lounge is my go-to place in Peterborough city centre! ❤️ I absolutely love the vibes here. The seating arrangement is one of my favourite things about this place. 🪴✨ There are plenty of indoor seats spread across both downstairs and upstairs, plus a lovely outdoor seating area that’s open during the summer. ☀️ One thing I really appreciate is how clean the toilets are. 🚻✨ They’re downstairs and are always spotless. I definitely judge a restaurant by the cleanliness of its toilets, so this gets bonus points from me! 😂 Ordering is super easy—you can either scan the QR code at your table 📱 or order at the counter. No reservation is usually needed, although it’s almost always busy, which tells you how popular it is! In the evenings, they light candles on every table. 🕯️🤍 It gives the whole place such a cosy, candlelit dinner vibe. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. 😊 🍛 Food-wise, I almost always order the Nasi Goreng. It used to be amazing, although I do feel the quality has dropped a little over time. I’ve also tried their breakfast 🍳 and burgers 🍔, which were both good. Their coffee ☕ is lovely, and I really enjoyed the Pink Drink 🩷 too. I haven’t tried any of the alcoholic drinks 🍹, so I can’t comment on those. Overall, I’d definitely keep coming back—not just for the food but for the atmosphere. 💛 They also have a little play corner for kids 🧸 and a book corner 📚, making it a great place to relax, catch up with friends, work, or simply unwind. ⭐ Would I visit again? Absolutely! The vibes alone keep me coming back. 🤍”

  “I really enjoyed my visit to Argo Lounge. The food was delicious, and everything was fresh and full of flavor. The place has a cozy, relaxing atmosphere that makes you want to take your time and enjoy your meal. It's a lovely spot to catch up with friends or just have a nice meal.   “What a great place to be on a Tuesday evening. 3 Tapas and a pint for £13.95 is fab value. The food is superb, the service amazing, and is a wonderful advert for Peterborough. Staff deserve a special mention. Argo Lounge has crafted an exemplary team and it shows in all aspects of this wonderful cafe/bistro/restaurant”

  “Came for breakfast and I opted for the big lounge breakfast. With a black coffee it came to £20 so I was hoping for an exceptional breakfast, it did not disappoint! Large portion size and everything on the plate was lovely. Service was really friendly and easy and a couple of dogs spotted around made it an even better experience. Chilled music really set the tone and if I’m ever working in the area again my first stop will be Argo Lounge”

  “Great ambiance & delicious food. We celebrate our Christmas 🎄 lunch here. Dan Dan veg noodles were yum very tasty. Harrisa chicken with flatbread scrumptious. Soup of the day veg with sourdough bread perfect 👌 for winter. We enjoyed our meal. Thank you team Argos lounge. Another visit: we had folded flat bread Chicken it was delicious & Panag curry with sweet potatoes & chickpeas coriander 🌿 rice very well cooked flavoursome. Great service.”

  “Contrary to a few other reviews, I found the service to be fine. Obviously there is a QR code on the table and a number, kindly informed by the service person at the door. Then there is the bar order process, pretty common in establishments like this everywhere. The drinks came right away, sonibea happy. The food came just after my first drink and that was okay as well. And the food was very well cooked and presented. Critically I do not think a few grams of rocket is classified as a salad, but the fries were sound and meat was cooked well, of not a little overdone. I think on comparison to other restaurants close by, it fits on because it does not advertise otherwise. The food and drinks were very reasonably priced and staff were considerate, even when my accent got me in trouble and a coke showed up instead of a Merlot. Relax, have a drink and enjoy the scenery.”

  “Food was fresh and tasty, it arrived fast too. The restaurant itself has a cozy atmosphere, we were sat downstairs and it had a nice vibe. I recommend the twisted chicken club sandwich.”
