  “One in party has coeliac disease but was able to enjoy the special margherita pizza safely. The dough had good texture despite being gluten free. The rest of the food was very good and excellent value for money. We ate pre-theatre.”

  “We really enjoyed our meal at La Smorfia on Sunday evening. My husband and I had pizza and our adult daughter, who is not easily impressed, had a vegetarian pasta dish and was in raptures about it. The place had a lovely feel to it.”

  “This was a fantastic experience but more specifically a gluten free one! Service was great, both servers were so kind and considerate, both clearly trained on handling dietary needs! Its a relief when dining out with a coeliac to have a seamless experience and delicious food. Next time we are down from coventry we will absolutely stop here again!”

  “We dropped by for a quick ‘in and out’ pizza. Extremely tasty Neapolitan style pizzas with high quality ingredients. Service was fast and attentive too. It’s always alleviates any fears with going to a new pizza place when you see Caputo flour and San Marzano tomatoes on display. Shows a certain depth of knowledge and pride in quality, I guess. Some of the pasta dishes looked very tasty. I would be interested to come back and try them”

  “We stopped here for dinner whilst out on our bikes, as we had heard the food was amazing! We were not disappointed the food was 10/10 so authentic and delicious bursting with flavours. The secluded pretty garden at the back was perfect to sit and enjoy the sunshine the vibe was great. The service was attentive and honestly the best Italian hands down!”

  “Nice and warm, cosy restaurant. Very polite service. Probably the best pizza in Oxfordshire - well done !! Pleasantly surprised with the quality of the ingredients. Will be back, that's for sure. Constructive feedback to the management: The white spot lights could feel a but too bright, reducing the romantic atmosphere. Also, we understand delays and why they happen, would be nice if they are announced at the start of the booking, just to manage expectations.”

  “We were at the Nuffield hospital and we decided to have dinner before heading back to Kent so we chose the restaurant according to the reviews on google and trip adviser. The restaurant is on main road and you can park your car opposite to it for 2hrs with now return. The restaurant is not the best at the first glance but clean and tidy, it was hot day so we chose to sit in the garden which was refreshing and nicely done, we had the cheese platter as a starter which was nice. I had pasta and my other half had sirloin steak. The food was done to perfection very nice and lots of flavour into it. We ordered a bottle of Italian wine was ok for a £28. Then we ordered desert I had tiramisu and My other half had profiterole with white chocolate, both came in a plastic cups they tasted nothing like dessert very disappointing really. The service was top notch. our bill came to £109 including service charge.”

  “We went here for a late lunch and everything was absolutely amazing ❤️ we’re gluten-free lactose intolerant and vegan and this place dealt with it so well!! Most of thier menu is available with a gluten free alternative and the waitress was so lovely and understanding with allergies! Plus the desserts are to die for you can’t even tell that they’re gluten free/vegan. It’s definitely the place to go too with allergies or not. Also the service alone was phenomenal ❤️❤️ they really went the extra mile and were so so friendly. Will for sure be bringing everyone I know :)”
