About O'neill's Oxford
O'Neill's Oxford is an Irish pub in Oxford city centre, near the Westgate centre, at 37 George St. Live music runs through the week's programme, and a karaoke night with a DJ turns the pub into a stage for anyone who wants to sing. Screens around the venue show live sport, including football and a Super Bowl party. The menu has a grill and pub classics section, and the meal deal pairs fish and chips with mushy peas and a drink. Breakfast is served, and bottomless brunch is on the menu for a longer morning out. Drinks can be ordered from the table through an app, so you can stay put during a match. Dogs are welcome.

Customer Review Summary
Most reviewers come for the fish and chips meal deal, praising the crispy, tender fish, thick cut chips and warm mushy peas with a drink included. Close behind are the event nights, with Thursday karaoke, the Super Bowl party and a World Cup match screening all described as busy but well run, with live music, screens around the venue and a bottomless brunch with Irish tunes and drinks that kept flowing. Reviewers also mention grill mains, pub classics and a breakfast, along with generous portions and fair prices. Service is repeatedly called friendly, with quick bar and table-app orders even when packed, and one family appreciated an iced jug of tap water on a hot day. The one complaint comes from a diner who ordered a rump steak medium well, received meat that looked white and was too tough to chew, and was told by the waitress she was sure it was medium well. Others close on the staff's kindness toward a group of disabled young people and their support workers seated nearby.

“We had an absolutely fantastic dining experience, and a massive part of that was down to the incredible service from Aemon and Imogen. From the moment we walked in, they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, looked after, and completely relaxed. Deffo would come back asap!”

“Lovely atmosphere, delicious and generous portion of food, bright personality within the service team. You MUST visit. I visited for a lunch trip with my mum and we both had delicious mains from the grill and pub classics side of the menu”

“Ordered a rump steak, medium well, food came meat was white as hell I’m sure it was well done . But the waitress was like “oh that medium well I’m sure” . So she’s sure.. I couldn’t even chew it let alone finish it.”

“Absolutely phenomenal. Fish and chips are really delicious. Fish is crispy outside and perfectly tender on the inside. Chips are thick cut with great flavor and seasoning. Mushy peas are warm with perfect texture and taste. They have meal deals so you can get all of this plus a drink for just 10,95£.”

“My family and I have went to Oxford for a holiday and we stumbled upon this pub by chance. We honestly had a great time and I truly believe this pub deserves more recognition!😃😊 first of all it was a hot day, servers were always friendly warm and checking up on us but when we had requested tap water instead of glasses of water, they gave us this nice big iced jug of water which I know might not be impressive to some but its a choice from their side! Not every pub or restuarant does that, some are petty. Price we pay in terms of the size and taste is very cheap, we took advantage of their meal deal £10.95 and had ordered fish chips👍🏻. Superb! Seating is comfortable you can easily find a table where you can charge your phones a great plus for tourists travellers like me😃😊 Furthermore we were seated next to a 3 disabled youth who were with their support workers/ caretakers and Pub staff were really lovely towards them and that had made me even more assured of the good vibes they have here! I strongly recommend”
