Customer Review Summary
Diners most often praise the meat, with one set menu for two earning comments on tender, flavourful, perfectly cooked meat and tasty, well presented starters. Close behind, reviewers describe friendly, welcoming staff, a jovial atmosphere and celebrations handled well, including a children's birthday party where the cake was brought out with music. Others mention the complimentary bread and dips, a lamb shish with salad, and fish with chips, and several call the value reasonable. Service speed is the recurring complaint. One reviewer describes a long wait for drinks and food on a busy night with large parties, another waited a long time for a platter, and a third says a shawerma never arrived despite two reminders and no other customers in the room. A few find the food lukewarm, the lamb doner dry or the hummus bland, and some say other Turkish restaurants are cheaper and charge nothing for tea. One reviewer who was handed the wrong takeaway dish says a refund was refused over the phone.

“Irresponsible waitress. I ordered Shawerma, waited 15 min, reminded 2 times, but eventually got no food and left hungry. There were no other customers and I could see the perfectly grilled chicken meat on a stick, but could not get it to my table.”
