Customer Review Summary
Pancakes are what reviewers mention most, from the red velvet cheesecake brownie pancakes, described as sweet, rich and paired with a yummy brownie, to others calling them really soft. Close behind are the Turkish eggs, truffle parm hashbrowns, nduja chorizo hash, and homemade baked beans with sausages. Vegan options also draw praise, including a vegan high tea and menu, and an afternoon tea with a range of hot drinks. Several describe friendly, welcoming staff who accommodated breakfast changes, and one had a coffee replaced quickly after a fly landed in it. Service is the recurring weak spot. Reviewers mention slow food and drinks on busy days, and one describes a waitress with an attitude about which door they used, plus cold pancakes and brownies that seemed not fresh. A few add that the cherry matcha lacked a rich matcha taste and that the space felt noisy and cramped. One vegan hot chocolate took a while and arrived topped with vegan cream, which the reviewer had to ask to have removed.

“I was in town with a friend for the Mangata rock festival, when we found this spot. The greatest pull was that it isn't a high street multiple, so we gave it a spin. We received a really warm welcome, and were offered a table in the window. I ordered a vegan hot chocolate, which took a while to arrive, and whilst it was very nice it turned up with cream on top. Obviously it was vegan cream, but I asked if I could have it without, and think it would have been better to have been asked if that's what I wanted when I ordered. Overall a very nice spot with great staff. I'd definitely visit these guys again.”

“I’d previously tried the Pudding Pantry in Beeston and have now finally visited the one in town. I’ve got to say, this branch definitely does it better! From the service to the food, everything was noticeably better. The outdoor seating in summer can be a little challenging with flies around, but the staff constantly made sure it didn’t affect the overall experience. Unfortunately, a fly somehow ended up in my drink as soon as it reached the table, but the staff were quick, polite and more than happy to replace my coffee. The Turkish eggs were absolutely fabulous! I’d ordered the same dish at the Beeston branch, but I found this one so much more delicious. Overall, a really lovely experience and I’d definitely return to this branch.”

“Visited last weekend. Ambience a bit off because it was very noisy and busy- fair on a bank hol Saturday. Area for coats would be helpful to feel less cramped. However the food was sensational (sounds dramatic but truly very good woow)prices are fair and staff were very lovely and welcoming”

“Amazing service, helpful and kind. All seating was comfy and a quite area. Food was pricey but clear when looking at the menu. The pancakes tasted amazing. One meal and drink cost me £17. It was a whole package so worth the pennies.”
