  “Lunch menu today was excellent. Extremely well presented and full of flavour. 2 course set menu £19.95 with 3 courses for £23.95. we had a large plate of mussels to start, then slow cooked ox cheek as main and treacle tart to finish. Will return. Quiet relaxing setting on tombland.”

  “This place feels special from the moment you walk in! Service is impeccable, the food is so tasty and looks so good too. Good portion sizes presented well. Would recommend to anyone visiting Norwich, and locals too.”

  “Another exceptional dining experience at a beautiful place, Tatlers, the service is impeccable, friendly and attentive by lovely Belinda. The food is exquisite, cooked by local talented chef Femi, particularly the fillet steak and the desserts are to die for! Not to mention the tasty little complimentary extras in between! Thankyou for a memorable dining experience. Do not hesitate to come here if you’re looking for an all round lovely evening!”

  “Had a lovely meal here last night. The hake and the treacle tart were faultless They just need to sort their website out. You just get directed to an OpenTable booking page and the menu on it isn't up to date. Essentially therefore no useable website or information. Luckily i was staying over the road so could look for myself but a shame for others who will want to look for themselves. A silly error which can be easily rectified.”

  “Another wonderful evening at Tatlers! Great service from the front of house staff led by Belinda who is warm and knowledgeable. Superb food from Femi a great place to come as a couple or with friends. A firm favourite for us - if you haven’t been I would recommend booking a table!”

  “First time we have visited since the new owners took over. Lovely service - attentive but not obsequious - and fabulous food. The treacle tart and clotted cream ice cream was divine! The restaurant is next door to the cathedral in Tombland, so a very special part of Norwich. We will definitely return and recommend highly to our friends and family.”

  “Phenomenal meal. Requested the steak medium well, and it was done medium well. Lovely service, considerate and patient for questions asked. Great recommendations for meals and drinks by wait staff, and had good banter the whole evening. The only small caveat is the proximity of tables and the volume of other customers in close space. But this is just personal preference. Appetisers: Ox cheek croquettes Onion bread with balsamic Starters: Duck doughnut Salmon Mushroom parfait Langoustine taco Mains: 10oz Sirloin (requested medium well, received medium well) Venison Hake Dessert: Crème brulé White chocolate cheesecake "Chocolate bar" Black forest Bomb”
