  “We ordered online seamlessly and the fish and chips were ready even before the time stated. The shop was busy but very organised and the food was delicious - fish wasn't oily but perfectly battered! Highly recommend 👍🏼”

  “Excellent food, large portions, fish cooked to order so slight wait. Always busy, so be prepared to queue. Tables available inside and outside to eat, or take-away. Large Cod & Chips plus Large Haddock & chips, plus one mushy peas about £30, so not particularly cheap, but good value for what you get.”

  “10 of us went for Fish and chips on 26th June we met each other there as some of the family were on the beach. When we arrived at 17:00 we ordered various cod and chips haddock and chips fish bites and chips that equated to 10 meals asked for collection at 17:30. Almost bang on 17:30 the order number was called and 10 freshly cooked and hot meals were boxed up for us. Everyone commented how hot, fresh and filling their meal was. We sat at two table outside, which made the start to the evening meal fantastic, good food and chatter. I would highly recommend it but do think ahead and order on arrival be prepared for a short wait as it is worth it. I will come here again”

  “Went here one evening this week and it was absolutely packed, they sold out of fish but were incredibly attentive and kept everyone informed. Most importantly the food is genuinely brilliant. Well worth a visit”

  “Great food and with beach right across the road excellent place for a quick lunch! Good selection and nice crispy chips for under £4 per portion! Basic eat in option available when weather isn't on your side as well!”

  “Bloody lovely 😍 Chippy run like a military operation! Fantastic service and even better food! Highly recommend the foot long battered sausage! Delicious! We ordered online and then walked there from Bacton. On arrival let them know we had arrived and had our dinner within 10mins at a very busy time of day! Fed 4 adults and 2 children for £55 which is pretty good going these days!”

  “Nice chips and battered sausage, we ate inside, also had picnic benches outside, or take away to the beach. Can see the sea from the restaurant table, mushy peas were pretty good. Seemed to be parking available for customers, we parked just in the street though. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend”

  “I stopped in at the Kingfisher Fish Bar and I had a regular cod, chips and a large carton of curry sauce. It wasn't expensive at all, as it was around 11 quid. The cod was cooked to order and when my number was called out, I decided to sit inside to eat it where quite a queue had started to form so it's definitely the place to come for a chippy tea. I was so impressed that I'm planning to call in again before my holiday is over.”

  “5***** Large haddock was beautifully cooked (in veg oil). Big piece of fish with plenty of chunky white flesh. Batter cooked through perfectly. Chips, again perfect with not too many small bits, very tasty potatoes. Staff all jovial and professional. Clean indoor eating area with basic tables. W.C. clean too. Outside plenty of pub benches with litter boxes. Best place to eat them though is across the road and down the steps to the wooden seats on the first sea wall - always makes them taste better ;-) N.B. I'd eaten some chips before I remembered to take a photo!”

  “I made the fatal mistake of ordering two large fish - I only managed 6 chips !!!! Nothing beats a good bit of fish, this was cooked fresh so there's a few minutes wait, but that's the trade off for getting it just out the fryer. A lovely piece of cod, nice and thick, I struggled to eat it all but I wasn't leaving any. I've paid £25-29 for a piece of "prime cod" in some restaurants, all were less than 1/2 the size of this and totally lacking in the lovely flavour this fish has, when it's a good bit of fish it speaks for itself - just be mindful if you order large then it really is - lovely batter as well, not too thick and letting the fish be the star of the show. P.S I forget what they call the very large battered sausage but they were twice the size of normal ones - absolutely massive, I noticed them while waiting for my fish. Good job I didn't have my dog with me, he'd be tapping on the glass, hinting for me to get him one.”
