“Had been here before many years ago and was glad to see it almost unchanged. It serves great beer and great food in a very friendly atmosphere. My wife and I were served the two best meals of our entire week's stay in Norfolk, and at a reasonable price. The beer was excellent as well. I think this pub stands out as the highlight of our holiday.”

“We stayed in Happisburgh for a couple of nights in our motorhome and had an evening medal and lunchtime sandwich T Hill House. Both were fantastic value and were excellent meals and the beers available were great. I really would rate the meals at Hill House as the best I have had for quite some time and would certainly recommend visitors to Happisburgh to visit there.”

“My wife and I stopped here for lunch while walking the Norfolk Path. The ambiance and decor is out of the 50s. This is not to say it's not a good pub, just that it's very original and unchanged. I liked the Wolf Ale. The other 2 bitters not so much. The food was unpretentious, no frills pub food.”

“A proper old Norfolk pub with hundreds of years of history. Excellent beer and good food. Don’t miss the beer garden at the rear with a raised platform giving wonderful sea and beach views.”

“Walking the coast path and missed the bus. Spirits plummeted as not many busses to be had and stumbled on this pub. It does food. It has nice beer. Everyone is friendly. Not at all pretending to be anything other than the friendly village pub. It doesn't really even go large on its sherlock Holmes connection. Recommended.”
