“I recently ordered the Chef’s Special from Choys of Bovey, priced at just £8.30 with a small additional charge of 20p to have the rice fried. The value for money was exceptional. The lady at the counter was extremely helpful, polite, and clearly knowledgeable about the menu, which made ordering a very pleasant experience. The meal arrived in a single container, filled generously to the top. The homemade BBQ sauce was rich and flavourful without being overpowering, complementing the dish perfectly. Overall, the food quality was outstanding — fresh, well-prepared, and full of flavour. Combined with the friendly service, fair pricing, and prompt preparation, this made for an excellent dining experience.
