  “Would give no stars if I could. Absolutely horrific customer service. I ordered my tea, which was missing a dish, but had a duplicate dish, when I called to explain what happened, the manager on the phone told me to just repay for the dish that was missing even though I already had. I explained that the lady on the phone never re read the order back to me, but I have been charged and have extra diah The manager said he was to busy and wasn't going to do anything or go without. I will not be revistiting”

  “We had a take away from here and it was very good. We got the lemon sauce chicken, kung po duck and fried rice. Generous portions, great taste and good price. We will come back for more tasty Chinese food”

  “Have always had good food here and spent lots of money with these. But Ringing up to make an order and be told to use Uber because they don't have a driver to deliver to us is disgusting. Loyal customers who have spent lots of money told to use another business who inflate the prices is disgusting. Will now be looking for a new Chinese!!!”

  “Look … a lot of these reviews are dodgy … you either suspect the rave reviews are from the business itself or someone with tastebuds from the 1970s … I’m not one of those. We were rehearsing a show starting in an Airb’n’b nearby and fancied a Chinese and I took a punt on this one among those available in the area. None of them looked that great to be honest, but my low expectations were exceeded … it was absolutely splendid consistently across about 9 out 10 dishes in a £85 order and everyone was very happy. I’d recommend it for good food and pleasant service (bear in mind it’s cash only though), I phoned in the order and drove round to collect it in about 15 minutes.”

  “We've tried a few Chinese takeways in Exeter and they've all been 'OK' but no better than that, until we tried Oriental express. This place was the most recent, and as of then, is the ONLY place we'll go as everything was excellent, apart from the food which was AMAZING. You definitely won't get a better Chinese meal than what you get here.”

  “The best Chinese takeaway I've had in years! A bit expensive but I think that all the takeaways have had to hike their prices up. Piping hot food which was very tasty indeed and delivered way before the time advised. Looking forward to my next order, I forgot to mention that if you spend over a certain amount then you qualify for free delivery - a rare thing these days!”

  “The best Chinese takeaway in Exeter without question. Superfast delivery and fantastic choice of menu. Prices are very reasonable and they also take telephone orders so you can skip the online delivery costs. The food is fabulous and they always add plenty of meat when you order any meat dish. Their service is just fantastic and they always add a free item with each order. Fully recommended and 100% the best Chinese takeaway in Exeter without a doubt. We will never use another takeaway ever again after using this one. The food and service is just fantastic and their prices are very economical and reasonable. Thank you so much Oriental Express for a wonderful brilliant unbeatable fantastic service. I always have the Special Curry and Chips. It is packed with meat and so very very tasty. My partner has a variety of things and she is always very happy and satisfied too.”
