Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often point to the sheer range of food on offer, from live counters and salads to sandwiches and hot lunches, at a cafe tucked away on the Open University campus. Close behind is the staff, described as friendly, professional and helpful, and the coffee and cake, which one reviewer found tasty. Several say the portions are good and the food fresh and tasty, and one appreciates the calories displayed on the counter food. Indoor and outdoor seating both get a mention, with one noting the outdoor tables catch plenty of sunlight, and another describing the green space around the venue. Visitors who are not students or staff say they felt welcome, and one visitor with a little dog found space in the bar. Prices split opinion: some call it reasonably priced and good value, while others find meals expensive for the amount of food, especially when pairing a meal with a salad. One reviewer who is not a registered student suggests asking the campus staff how to find it.

“A really pleasant and affordable place to eat good food or relax with a coffee. The choice is very extensive and staff are all very friendly and professional, the venue is idyllic with the green space surrounding it and what looks like a newly renovated or constructed space. If you want a break to study even if you're not a registered Open University student it's worth your while to ask the campus staff how to get here.”

“Our first time back here in quite a while as we're not locals. What a cracking restaurant. We found space in the bar because we had a little dog with us. The food did not disappoint (which is why we came back) all of it was absolutely”

“Only had coffee and cake but both were tasty and the staff were lovely. I liked that all the food at the counter had the calories displayed.”
