  “Found staff friendly and was nice and clean! Waited a bit longer then would expect but have to say enjoyed food so no problem! Prices i would say slightly above average but at the same time bacon particularly had flavour and wasn't the cheapest bacon! Overall would come back if in that area and was nice!”

  “Would most probably avoid at all costs... I have yet to make a up to date review which will do shortly. However last 2 times of ordering which had completely put me off.. I had sausage missing both times then when I went and reorderered for my sausage, the sausage was cold and very dense and unlike a regular sausage. I have eaten from this establishment years ago and it was ok..the last time I had it..was very poor quality food the temperature between the beans and bacon where well off.the staff make you feel very unwelcome and uncomfortable and made me think twice was the missing sausage on both occasions on purpose.. didn't really want to make this review as I could just be really unlucky..none the less I have been bamboozled twice and have had a bad experience as a paying customer.”

  “The pricing is slightly costly for what you get, especially when online orders require spending £1-2 just for some sauce. The fillings are not spread very evenly so my wrap was mostly just dry square sausage. The flavour isn't really there but it is filling.”

  “Ordered sausage egg and bacon roll which turned up in a baguette which was stale and tough to chew. One egg cut in half across the whole baguette. To be fair the jumbo sausage was ok but the square sausage was like spam!! The bacon was tough as a rubber boot and the chips were stone cold and rock hard. Not very impressed with the quality. Very disappointed.”

  “1st experience of Cafe Max was through food delivery and it was banging, food was hot, generous portion size and tastes great too! I went to the cafe instead today and it was better than first time. Service is excellent, staff are friendly and in the ball all the time. Few seats but well sheltered and kept clean and tidy. I will definitely be going back again. Thank you and keep up the great food and service!”
