Quick info
About Fergies
On Northfield Dr in Milton Keynes, Fergies operates as a mobile burger van rather than a fixed restaurant location, serving a fast food menu to walk-up customers. Bacon, sausage and egg sandwiches are a regular part of the offering, alongside baguette sandwiches with fillings prepared to order. Fillings such as bacon and eggs are cooked fresh at the point of ordering rather than held pre-cooked. There is no seating, and orders are taken at the van on a walk-in basis with no booking. It runs daytime only, Monday to Friday, and stays closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out the bacon, sausage and egg sandwich, described as packed to the brim and served in soft buns or baguettes, with the foot-long version called the value sweet spot. Close behind are the generous portions and value for money, with several calling it the best burger van or snack wagon in Milton Keynes. Other items named include a steak stick, a breakfast stick, and bacon, tomato and mushrooms on a tiger roll. Diners repeatedly say everything is made fresh to order, with fillings prepared and bacon and eggs cooked while they wait, and one says nothing is greasy or pre-cooked. The owner and the women serving are described as friendly, smiling and chatty, and one reviewer notes she takes telephone orders and is always on time. A few mention the Wednesday specials, and a long-time returning customer says the food is as good as it was 12 years ago. No recurring complaints appear. One reviewer says the sandwiches vanished before a photo could be taken.

“My partner and I both had baguette sandwiches and they were really tasty! The couple who were serving us, freshly prepared all of the sandwich fillings while we waited. The bacon and eggs were cooked there and then and everything we wanted in our sandwiches was added. We can't fault their friendliness, efficiency and the wait time was short considering the preparation. A hidden gem of a place :). We will definitely return!”
