Customer Review Summary

Reviewers most often return to the grilled meats and generous portions, with the koobideh kebab described as perfectly done and a grill platter for two suggested by one diner for those who can't decide. Close behind are the rice dishes, called the most delicious rice one party had tasted, along with the saffron chicken with barberry rice, the chicken that fell off the bone, and the ghormeh sabzi. Others mention the olivieh salad starter served with a huge warm naan, fish, and a pot of cardamon tea. The welcome is a constant theme, with staff and the owner described as friendly and treating guests like family, and one reviewer notes the mains are filling enough that starters can wait. The one critical account describes a sea bass grilled so hard and burnt that little flesh was left, plus a mountain of rice, though that reviewer found the staff lovely and the other meals looked good. One guest also notes the restaurant does not serve alcohol but allows bringing your own. Several mention a calm, warm room with carpets, lanterns, and a singing canary.
