Customer Review Summary
Coffee is the main draw for most reviewers, with espresso and cappuccino both praised, and the spot beside Oxford Road station is described as a first port of call when arriving in or leaving Manchester. Close behind, the Java House Blend hot chocolate with marshmallows is called the tastiest one a reviewer has had, and the lemon cannoli is compared favourably with one eaten in Sicily. Staff come up often as friendly, including a rapid, genuine welcome at the counter and a till worker who explained the menu. Criticism is smaller but specific. One reviewer objected to the extra charge for soy milk in a cappuccino and the server's reply about pricing, then found the coffee only ok in a mismatched cup and saucer. Another calls the coffee not great and says some staff seemed disinterested, and two feel the premises need refurbishing. One group describes warm buttered croissants with jam, fresh from the oven.

“BEWARE* Didn't seem at all clean when I visited, turns out it has a recent 1-star rating from hygiene standards agency (Google it) , coffee isn't great and some staff seem disinterested. There are plenty of choices for great coffee around Oxford Road station, this isn't one!”
