About Jacora Coffee Co Urmston

Paninis and sandwiches at Jacora Coffee Co Urmston come in vegan versions, including a vegan cheese sandwich, so plant based customers order from the same board as everyone else. This coffee shop on Higher Rd keeps a compact room, with outdoor seats for anyone who prefers to eat and drink outside when the weather allows. The drinks run from pots of tea to cappuccino, with flavoured and seasonal lattes including matcha, and non-dairy milks such as soya are stocked. On the food side, toasted sandwiches sit alongside a cheese and ham toastie, and sweet options include the toasted teacake, flapjack and cinnamon roll. Orders are taken on a walk-in basis, with no booking needed, and anything can be packed up to take away for eating elsewhere. High chairs are on hand for families with young children, and dogs are welcome. The doors open daily during the daytime.

Customer Review Summary

Pots of tea are the most frequent draw at this Urmston coffee shop, with reviewers pairing them with a toasted teacake, a toastie or a flapjack and calling the results perfect and well priced. Coffee comes next, described as nice by several and merely ok by one, while a cappuccino, a pistachio latte and a regular matcha latte with soya milk each get a mention. Vegan choices stand out too: one reviewer was surprised to find five vegan panini options, and another praised the vegan cheese sandwich. Reviewers also single out the cinnamon roll and an iced tea as excellent. Staff are repeatedly called welcoming and friendly, and several describe the prices as reasonable. The main complaints are small. One reviewer was charged 50p extra for non dairy milk and was handed a takeaway cup after asking to eat in, and another wanted more cheese in a ham and cheese toastie. The space is described as small, with plenty of outdoor seats, and one reviewer notes it is dog friendly.

“Very nice local coffee shop. They have a lot of seasonal drinks and different matcha lattes in a couple of flavours, I had a regular matcha latte with soya milk which was pretty nice. Cafe is small but lots of outdoor seats. They do charge 50p for non dairy milks which is why I deduct a star, they also served me in a takeaway cup when I asked for eat in but I wasn’t too bothered about that. Overall a nice enough coffee shop with good matcha.”
  • S T
“The coffee was nice and the cheese and ham toastie was pretty good. I just like a little more cheese on mine. Cute place and reasonably priced. A coffee and toastie came to £6.50”
