“What a dump this place is! Considering its position and possible views, the seating area outside is dirty, brickwork also dirty, I’ve seen better in 3rd world countries. The fact it’s a Sale, near water park makes it an even bigger disappointment. Get rid of Perspex defaced fencing, clean it up, invest some money please! The boathouse restaurant upstairs is a million times better. Come on BOATHOUSE (Sale) Ltd. Do something!”

“The worst eating experience I've ever had in 60yrs. Rude, obnoxious and unfriendly woman taking orders, dirty floors, dirty sticky metal drink trays on the top of bar. Dirty stainless steel kick plate on front of bar, filthy windows inside and out, filthy parameter glass panels all around the building look like Never been cleaned, should be ashamed of yourselves. temperature was 35 degrees only one glass door open, insane. States its a cafe, it is not, its no more than a butty van with its take away knives forks, plates and cups etc. ridiculous restaurant prices for cheap takeaway food. Never will I visit again.”

“Jacket potato arrived hard and inedible. Sent back. Staff Went upstairs with it came back in a couple of minutes still hard. Very poor service. Disposable plates and cups and woode cultery. Not going again.”

“Sadly a poor experience of customer service. Sneery and rude lady at the counter made for a negative experience buying tea and snacks for kids. The place looks tired and is over-priced. Would recommend going to the tree top or ice cream van.”

“Beautiful views from this cleverly designed restaurant. Stepped floor means every table has a good lake view, not just those actually next to the window. Food and drinks pub like but commendably also in their very reasonable pricing. But perhaps the cost can be good by not having enough staff ? I can't give it the 5-stars I otherwise would due to the v slow service. Sat down at 12.50. Order taken in reasonable time. But food didn't arrive until well after 2pm.”
