  “We had a lunch time buffet here for about 50 people after my mums funeral. I cannot praise Stella and her wonderful team enough. From first contact Stella was helpful and accommodating. The tea room was warm and welcoming on a very cold day. We were extremely well looked after and the food was excellent with great attention to coping with any dietary requirements. Nothing was too much trouble and I would have no hesitation in recommending Sandy Lane Tea Room to anybody.”

  “We recently held a celebration of my mum's life in the function room at Sandy Lane Tea Room. The room was set up beautifully and we received many compliments from guests regarding the lovely food provided by the Sandy Lane team. We were very well looked after, thank you for taking care of everyone so well, including the specific dietary requirements in our group. Highly recommended, thank you again.”

  “We held our mums final goodbye at the Sandy lane tea room.the food was great and plentiful, the service was excellent and extremely friendly. We were looked after from start to finish.all our needs were served even opening on the day they normally closed.Thanks to the team for making a very special day go so well.would highly recommended as a venue Thanks Dave Lynda”

  “Always feel so welcomed when me and my family come here. The food is amazing and fresh with a great selection to choose from. The staff are lovely and are always smiling. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place for lunch or just a hot drink. Definitely one of my favourite places to visit :)) x”

  “I come to this tea room regularly with a group of friends who have had a stroke. The food is delicious and the staff are always welcoming and attentive. They amaze me with the care and patience they take in remembering our names and taking our orders. They are always smiling and warm. The owner, in particular, is lovely and very accommodating (for example, the music is kept low or turned off when we are there, as many of us struggle in noisy environments). We have had private functions there at Christmas and every effort was made to ensure our experience was great. The cafe has a peaceful, relaxed vibe and the lovely outdoors area is an added bonus on a warm day. I highly recommend visiting.”

  “Deeply saddened to read the recent negative review. Luckily this is the only negative review about this beautiful cafe (apart from the one about not being able to use laptops, which I and 99% of others fully support, its a cafe and place of relaxation, not an office !) My wife suffered a stroke 5-years ago, so her and another stroke survivor decided to start a 'stroke support group' We have been holding weekly meetings at Sandy Lane for the past four years, and have always been greeted with open arms. We could not ask for better service or food. Many of our group have varying degrees of disability, and the staff there could not be more helpful, patient, polite and courteous. We fully intend to continue our weekly visits here for many years to come. The owner and her team make us feel so welcome, and nothing is ever too much trouble. Please do not change anything about this tea room, it is absolutely perfect.”
