About La Boheme
La Boheme is a family-run French restaurant in Lymm, at 3 Mill Ln, where the tables are dressed in white linen. The kitchen cooks French dishes and serves them in courses that include dessert. A set lunchtime menu runs separately from the evening service, so the two meals are laid out differently. Reservations are required, and tables are often booked up. The restaurant opens Wednesday to Sunday and is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Customer Review Summary
Diners praise the food above all, calling dishes exquisite, delicious and superb, and several single out the three-course menus. Named favourites include a fish dish with crispy skin, venison, scallops and Bakewell tart. One reviewer found the vegan options as carefully made as the rest of the menu, and another said the cooking recalled time living in France. Close behind is service, described as polite, friendly and attentive, and several reviewers consider the meal good value, including the set lunchtime menu. The main caveat is getting a table. One reviewer tried many times before finding availability, and another says booking is essential. Smaller notes include one guest who was cold by the air conditioner until a waiter adjusted it, and a wish for vegetarian and vegan hors d'oeuvres. One party celebrating a graduation received a personalised inscription on the dessert plate, and another group was given a complimentary slice of French apple tart for the journey home.

“We went for a Sunday lunch, it was a lovely cute restaurant. Service was exceptional, foods were amazing, servicr was speedy. There isn't anything I could fault this restaurant, price is not the cheapest but it worths every penny. The TLC and the quality of foods and cooking. I would highly recommend this place, booking is also essential.”

“We dined here as a party of four to celebrate a graduation, and it was a fitting and memorable experience. The service was professional and attentive. The team made the occasion feel special without being intrusive. A particularly thoughtful touch was the personalised inscription on the dessert plate for the graduate, which added a wonderful sense of occasion and was greatly appreciated. The food was the highlight of the evening. Each course was carefully crafted and felt considered, with excellent flavours and presentation throughout. The vegan options were impressive and demonstrated the same level of care and creativity as the rest of the menu. The hors d'oeuvres were exquisite, although a vegetarian and vegan selections at this stage would make the experience even better. The setting was formal, providing a fitting backdrop for a celebration. One guest was cold in front of the air conditioner, but after some time a gentleman waiter kindly adjusted the setting. Overall, a special dining experience marked by outstanding food, thoughtful hospitality, and attention to detail. We left feeling that an important milestone had been celebrated in exactly the right way. We will return.”

“We had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant. Every course was presented beautifully and tasted absolutely delicious. The fish dish was a standout for me, especially with the crispy skin and perfectly cooked vegetables. It was a lovely meal from start to finish. I will certainly be recommending this place to friends and family in Lymm.”

“Yesterday, we had dinner here for my birthday; it was our second time, and it was even better! The meal is delicious; I tried the venison, scallops, and Bakewell tart, all of which were excellent! The wait staff is highly attentive, and the service is excellent as well.”

“What a lovely evening. Such a variety of meals to choose from, each reading just as good as the last. All 3 courses were amazing and good portion sizes. Will be back to explore the other offerimgs soon. Nice to be somewhere and see everyone chatting without a phone in sight. That's what amazing food can do. Well done to all the staff.”
