Customer Review Summary
Diners most often point to the chicken and mushroom pie, called full of flavour and perfectly cooked by one reviewer, though another found it not fresh and the portion small. Pad kra pao and tom yum soup also draw praise, along with king prawns, a strawberry mojito mocktail, and food described as fresh and authentically Thai. Staff are repeatedly called friendly and attentive, and one reviewer notes how accommodating they were toward a grandmother. The complaints center on value and execution. A meat pie with chips, mash and gravy was tasty but the portions felt small for the price, and tables needed cleaning more often. One steak was burnt on one side, the sea bass had barely any flavour, fries were dry, and a fish dish came out overly sweet instead of the spicy garlic and lime expected. One group had an ordered dish go unserved and taken off the bill, and another reviewer described tea arriving in a dirty mug. Several diners describe returning because the food does not disappoint.

“I witnessed absolutely disgusting behaviour from one of the workers at this restaurant towards a Uber eats delivery driver. The worker who was bengali and on the chubbier side with a beard was extremely rude and aggressive towards the delivery driver for absolutely no reason. The delivery driver was just waiting to collect an order. While waiting he stood up and started looking at himself in the mirror. He wasn’t bothering anyone or doing anything wrong. Out of nowhere, the worker came up to him aggressively saying, “Yo, what you doing? What you doing? Huh? Sit down, sit down!” in such a rude tone. All because the man was looking at himself in the mirror? What made it worse was that it genuinely seemed like the worker assumed the delivery driver couldn’t speak English so he thought he could talk to him however he wanted. But the delivery driver could speak English perfectly fine and immediately defended himself. He questioned why the worker was being so rude to him when all he was doing was looking in the mirror. Instead of apologising the worker started laughing in his face. But the moment he realised the delivery driver could actually speak English and stand up for himself, he suddenly went quiet and went straight back to doing his job. Funny how quickly his attitude changed when he realised the man wasn’t going to tolerate his disrespect. It honestly makes me wonder how the workers at this restaurant treat delivery drivers who genuinely cannot speak English or struggle to defend themselves. What if this driver couldn’t speak English that day? Would the worker have continued treating him like that just because he knew the man couldn’t respond? It’s actually disgusting to think that someone could be treated this way just for doing their job. Delivery drivers are human beings too. They are not beneath you just because they are collecting orders from your restaurant. The whole situation was horrible to witness. I genuinely hope management sees this review and addresses this worker’s behaviour because nobody deserves to be spoken to like that. Absolutely disgraceful.”

“Food was okay. Not a fresh chicken and mushroom pie. Quite a small portion. Steak was not cooked well but burnt on one side. Could hear the workers talking about an incident that happened the night before about one of the workers being on their phone and now Ashraf is following the same footsteps.”

“If there was a less rating I would give it. Horrible customer service and the food is not worth a dime if your money. The sea bass had barely any flavour let alone salt. Tea came in a dirty mug, fries were drier than the Sahara. Save your money!!!”

“This is a great Thai restaurant! Delicious food - especially the pad kra pao and Tom yum soup. The service was great and very accommodating towards my grandmother. There is also a nice prayer space downstairs for those who need to pray. We always end up coming back here as the food doesn’t disappoint!”

“We prebooked for a catchup, the place was not too busy we came for a Saturday late lunch, waiters were attentive, however they did not serve a dish we ordered so we had to have that taken off our meal. The drinks were ok. The food was ok. The pace was quiet so we were able to spend a longer time there. Overall it really wasn’t to my taste especially the fish dish I ordered as I had thought the Thai flavours would be a little spicy with garlic and lime but it was overly sweet. I did not enjoy.”
