Customer Review Summary
Pad Thai, including a prawn version, is the dish diners name most, alongside Thai green curry, Pad Kra Prow, massaman curry and prawn doughnuts. Reviewers single out the chilli oil, and the spicy dishes are described as full of flavour. Close behind is the staff, called friendly and accommodating, and one reviewer preferred the hot and iced Thai tea to versions tried elsewhere. Reviewers also mention plentiful portions, plenty of veggie options and great cocktails. The complaints are practical. The room is small and warm, with no air conditioning, and it is described as busy and noisy. One reviewer calls it more of an in and out cafe than a place to sit for long. Service was slow for one diner, who also found a service charge of around 22% on the bill and says repeated requests for an explanation went unanswered. One reviewer suggests booking in advance to avoid a wait. For one birthday group, who had only asked if the staff could serve the donuts they brought, the host surprised their friend with a birthday song.

“We shared massaman curry and prawn pad Thai! Was delicious! We sat outside and people watched- sorting outside in September was fine!”

“Always a fan of the food at Rosa’s Thai! We ordered the Thai Green Curry, Pad Thai, Pad Kra Prow and Prawn Doughnuts, and honestly enjoyed every single dish. Everything was so delicious and full of flavour, and their chilli oil is especially good! It’s a small restaurant, thus it was quiet warm as it was a very hot day when we visited. But the service is great and the overall experience is lovely. Definitely a place I’d happily come back to!”

“Beautiful and one of the most authentic Thai food chain restaurants outside of Thailand. It does live up to its name of cafe though as it’s not the most comfortable of places to sit for a long time. More of an in and out cafe. Although, we spent a good few hours trying various small plates and main courses. No air conditioning either but there was a breeze flowing through.”
