About The Orangery Kew gardens
The Orangery Kew gardens is a restaurant and cafe in London, at the Royal Botanic Gardens. As a breakfast restaurant, it serves breakfasts and also puts an eclectic range of dishes on its lunch menu. The dining room sits in an 18th-century building with a high ceiling and huge arched windows, so guests eat inside the architecture itself. The building gives visitors to the gardens a roofed place to sit down for a morning meal or a midday one, with both served under the same ceiling.

“I had a lovely veggie lunch, healthy and tasty. It's a pretty building, beautiful views, nice and warm. The staff were lovely and very helpful.”

“Stunning building, food reminiscent of a sub-par service station.”

“A rung below cafeteria food. Truly abysmal. All the bread is stale, it's pathetic. Airline food quality.”
- Pallina
“Very disappointed, especially considering my expectations. The café operates partly as a self-service establishment and partly with table service, but unfortunately the overall experience felt rushed and rather careless. The tables were not particularly clean, and some were also unstable. In fact, the table I sat at wobbled so much that my coffee spilled as soon as I sat down. Considering the quality, the prices felt quite high, and the selection was also rather limited. Unfortunately, this was not the experience I was expecting, and I would not return.”
