About L'oro di Napoli (Ealing)
L'oro di Napoli (Ealing) is a Neapolitan restaurant at Unit 6 in London, where the pizzas are baked in a wood-fired oven and some tables look onto it. The menu centres on Neapolitan-style pizza, with pasta and desserts alongside, and the kitchen uses ingredients sourced from Italy. The Caruso pizza comes topped with mince meat, and the Quattro Formaggi Plus is another option on the pizza list. Cold cuts are ordered as starters, and a selection of wines includes a house white. The restaurant is open daily, and diners can bring their dogs.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers return above all to the wood-fired Neapolitan pizza, praising a soft, fluffy, chewy dough and a crust that is thin but generous with toppings. Mozzarella that melts, fresh tomato sauce and a drizzle of olive oil come up repeatedly, and the smoky flavour of the oven gets credit for the taste. Named orders include the Caruso and the Quattro Formaggi Plus, and one diner chose the special. Close behind is the service, described as friendly, helpful and relaxed, with one server offering menu suggestions based on a table's preferences. The cold cuts, the house white, a great selection of wines and desserts called sweet and rich also earn mentions, and the atmosphere is called cosy, warm and welcoming. The one lukewarm account, from a takeaway customer, wanted more tomato sauce on the Caruso and did not care for its mince meat, though the dough was good and well seasoned. One diner, seated close to the wooden oven, enjoyed watching their pizzas being prepared.

“This is absolutely the best pizza I have ever eaten. I’ve eaten pizza across Italy and the world and this place cannot be beaten. Luca the chef is absolutely amazing. Lucaz the waiter is the warmest and kindest guy ever. The owner, Fabio, is also a hardworking and caring chap. The Ingredients are sourced from Italy. The ambience is wonderful. Simply the best pizza ever. Thank you guys.”

“Came here to order takeaway pizza while I was in the area. The venue was empty but it had a nice decor and ambiance. I ordered a Caruso and I had it within 10 min. It was a good Neapolitan pizza overall with quality ingredients, although I would have preferred if it had a bit more or tomato sauce. I was not really a fan of the mince meat either. The dough was good and well seasoned. I think I may have made a bad choice. Good choice if you are in the area.”

“We visited this place before a trip to Europe, and so far it's been the best meal of our entire trip. The crusts were so fluffy, the toppings so generous, and the service so kind that we'll definitely revisit it once we're back home in London. Really genuinely good pizza and good vibes.”

“Really great pizza - we opted for the special and the crust was fluffy but still quite thin, generous with toppings and a good size!”

“We had the most authentic and delightful experience in this Neapolitan restaurant. The atmosphere and service from the staff was excellent. They came with great suggestions on the menu based on our preferences. Pizzas had lots of filling with mozzarella and tasty meat. We were lucky to get a table with a close view to the wooden pizza oven and it was so amazing to watch our food being prepared. After the pizza we ordered some desserts and it topped our experience. Sweet, rich, and absolutely delicious. L 'oro di Napoli Ealing - we will for sure pay you another visit the next time we are in London. Thank you so much for this incredible experience!”
