  “We had the Txuleton last night and it was absolutely delicious! If you love authentic Basque-style steak, this is the place to go.They grill the meat right over the charcoal, and you can really taste that deep, distinct smoky flavor. The steak was perfectly seasoned with sea salt, incredibly tender, and had that amazing crust on the outside while staying perfectly juicy inside.”

  “Went there last weekend and everything was amazing! The cod omelet and the steak were absolutely delicious. We also got to learn about the dry-aging process, and it was really interesting. You can definitely taste the difference,the steak had such a deep, rich flavor. I honestly can't remember the last time I had meat that tasted that good! The cheesecake was also incredible; super smooth, creamy, and delicious. Can't wait for our next dinner there. Highly recommend!”

  “I dont even know where to start. Im a steak lover, and I just entered steak heaven. But not just the steak — which was one of the very best I’ve had in my life. Starting with the staff: amazing people with amazing energy from the moment we walked in. We ordered the red tuna tartar, and it was hands down the best we’ve ever had. The Ibérico ham croquetas… you MUST try those!!! And the morcilla 🌟🤩 yessss. Then came the Galician premium beef, cooked al punto, from grass-fed cows from Northern Europe. Absolutely incredible. The asparagus were some of the freshest we’ve ever tried — they even come from their own garden. The mashed potatoes were delicious too. For dessert, you HAVE to try the warm Basque cheesecake… truly to die for. Out of all the places we tried during our honeymoon through London, Paris, and Tenerife, this place gets 5 stars from us.”

  “Pedro is in command of the service. If it’s your first time there - as this was for us - he explains the meat in detail and walks you through the menu. He was very helpful with the wine selection. Prices are a bit on the high end driven by a combination of quality of the food and the fact that this is dining out in London. The service is really great. It feels like everyone in the restaurant is there to contribute positively to the time you spend at the place.”

  “We had such a lovely experience at Sagardi. The service was amazing, Pedro was fantastic, super attentive and friendly throughout the evening. The atmosphere was perfect too, relaxed and not too loud, which made it even more enjoyable. We really appreciated the complimentary plate of olives, sardines and green chillies to start, which was a lovely touch. Then at the end of the meal, when I mentioned I was treating my boyfriend for his birthday, Pedro kindly surprised us with beautifully presented chocolate macarons and a candle, such a thoughtful gesture that made the evening feel extra special. Food-wise, everything was incredible. The steak was absolutely fantastic and full of flavour. The croquettes and tuna tartare starters were both amazing, and the cheesecake completely surprised me with how delicious it was! Overall, such a memorable experience with wonderful food, atmosphere and service. We’ll definitely be back!”

  “Been here twice, food was great everytime! First time was busier, second time on a saturday night was surprisingly empty, but enjoyable nonetheless. I would recommand everything on the menu, first time I had the tasting menu and it was just as good as ala carte!”

  “Positives the wedges and Swiss chard gratin were amazing. Steak was really good but for what we paid for it seriously and ridiculously overpriced. I understand the unique selling point of the dairy cows but I’ve paid less in a Michelin restaurant for more food. Wine wasn’t great we asked for full bodied and got light. Service was good but not amazing. Atmosphere was good but not amazing. Basically for what we paid for it all I was expecting a lot more and feel we did not get value for money and wouldn’t recommend it unless you want to walk away feeling like you got scammed. Harsh I know but it’s honestly how we felt.”

  “I saw a reel on IG calling this the best steak in London so thought we should pay a visit while visiting. I’m from Texas so steak and bbq are staple foods here and I enjoy trying out different steak houses when traveling overseas. I tried the tasting menu which was a 5 course meal. The first course was basque sausage and was delicious, probably my favorite part of the meal. The next two dishes were fish based - a cod omelette which was good but very runny/liquidy so texture wise my son did not enjoy it and the second was pan fried codfish. We had two pieces and one of them was overcooked so a bit rubbery/hard to chew but the other was good. The txuleton steak was ok. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t good either. We were never asked how we’d like our steak cooked and while we do prefer medium rare, it was just ok. The videos I saw on social media show it heavily salted but we barely tasted it, the ones where we did have salt tasted better. I’d give it a 7/10 relative to its price. It wasn’t an expensive steak so I wasn’t expecting top tier quality but it was just average. Finally for dessert they were out of the cheese so we got cheesecake instead and that was fine as well, just not my style as it wasn’t sweet and much softer than NY cheesecake, more like a custard. I’d consider this maybe an average quality steakhouse not a specialty one but they have a very extensive wine selection so I think for evening drinks, this would be a great place to go.”
