“I stumbled upon Franco's takeaway sandwich bar and restaurant near Shoreditch and decided to try their Prawn Mayo sandwich. The prawns caught my eye - they looked really fresh and not the previously frozen ones, so I went for the 4.80 prawn mayo sandwich. The addition of lemon juice offered by them made it incredibly tasty. The prawns were flavorful, springy and meaty, a pleasant surprise. I should have bought another sandwich for later. The option for cling film wrap was convenient since I wasn't eating it immediately and it stayed intact in the bag without seeping.”

“(06/11/25), I was at Curtain Road, moving onto another part of Shoreditch. I had been meaning to visit this place via recommendation when I was in the area in May. Thought I'd make the effort this time. I can be quite fussy, this was no problem for these guys - I has a Bacon & Egg french stick, wanted the fat cut off the Bacon and the eggs cooked both sides just until the yokes started to set. It was cooked well and was good quality. I was happy overall and would be more than happy to go back next time. Didn't realise there was seating inside it's much larger than it appears.”

“Popped in here this morning, proper old style cafe and had the special breakfast, delicious food and worth every penny. Always good to come back to this area and well worth a visit if you're hungry and down this part of London.”
