Customer Review Summary
Sashimi draws the most praise, with reviewers calling it especially fresh, and one adds that the scallops and chef's tartare are well worth ordering. Close behind are the teriyaki dishes: a regular who returns for the salmon teriyaki each visit, and two others who single out the chicken teriyaki. Diners also mention a mushroom and chilli starter for sharing, miso soup and a 24 piece sushi set. The cocktails are described as beautifully presented and consistently excellent, and the Sancerre is said to pair well with the food. Reviewers describe friendly, attentive staff who seat and serve guests quickly, a calm atmosphere that suits conversation, and good value for money. Two note the room is dog-friendly, and one mentions gluten free and veggie options. One reviewer who dropped in last minute found it very busy and suggests booking. Another has seen a small birthday party with a couple of children hosted there.

“One of the best sushi places in London! My girlfriend and I went there for the first time this week and were blown away by how good the quality of the food and drinks was. We booked a table in advance via google (bonus points for not having to deal with third party websites) and were politely greeted and shown to our table. We ordered: Miso Soup, Salmon Teriyaki, and the 24 piece sushi set. The food was delicious and the cocktails were beautifully presented and tasted amazing.”

“This is my favourite restaurant in London! The salmon teriyaki slaps each time. Sometimes I come solo, and sometimes with friends - I’ve even seen a small birthday party with a couple of kids being hosted here. The staff are also super friendly!”

“A solid Japanese restaurant with good value for money. The sashimi and chef’s tartare dishes are well worth ordering, and the scallops were notably fresh. Not quite at the level of top-end spots, but at this price point the quality is genuinely impressive. Great atmosphere and friendly staff make it a perfect lazy weekend spot. It’s the kind of place you’re glad to have nearby for a relaxed, no-fuss meal out.”

“Such a lovely experience. We were sat promptly and the order was taken quickly. The menu had a good selection of meat, fish and vegetarian options. The wine menu was a good size - not too many to overwhelmed you, but enough to give you a good choice. Went for the Sancerre which went well with the dishes we ordered. I would highly recommend rhe chicken teriyaki. Moon and Yee were amazing hosts - we felt so welcome and looked after.”
