  “This family run restaurant is an absolute gem. We have been coming since it opened in 2014, and it is our most favourite place to eat. The food is exquisite- real taste of Nepal. Recently celebrated my birthday here with a friend who has spent many years in India and Nepal and he was blown away by the tastes , quality, service and atmosphere.   “Had a fantastic meal here in Penge. Every dish we ordered was cooked to perfection and looked beautiful on the table. The coconut rice was a lovely surprise and tasted really fresh. We left feeling completely satisfied with the quality of the food. It is definitely a great spot to visit.”

  “There were 4 of us and we had lamb Biriyani and nan bread. They were wonderful cooked and delicious. It didn't take long forour food to be brought after order too!”

  “This place is fantastic. It has a true family run feel, with very friendly staff who say hello and make you feel very welcome. The food is simply incredible. The Scottish salmon tikka starter is off the hook, and both the chilli paneer and king prawn tikka masala mains were top tier. If you’re looking for a dinner option near Crystal Palace, don’t sleep on this place.”

  “What an amazing hidden gem. Well, not that hidden, but easily missed. Cosy and home cooked style dining and one of the best curries I've had in a long time. Try their specialty dishes, don't stay in your comfort zone of a masala or korma. Look for the dishes that have 'Himalayan' in the description and do yourself a favour! Looking forward to going again.”

  “I am updating my review that I wrote 4 months ago. base on tonight visit experience on Sunday 08/12/2024 after 6 times visit with my boys normally we are family 4 people my wife and son enjoyed their food but I didn’t enjoy my lamb pasanda at all £16.06 cost me and it was dry and chewy I told the owner chefs and the wife and the son about previous visits lamb was good this visit was very disappointing I asked for the bill and they charged me full price for the lamb curry that was dry and chewy? That’s fine by me if you are going to be rich with charging £15.00 giving discount £1.06 please Carry on doing same principle with all of your customers to see if you are going to have anymore customers left by the end of January? if you lose 1 customer every day you do the math! But I do believe charging me tonight £15.00 it is not going to make you and any of you rich? In fact you are going to open for the business every day tomorrow and the after but I am not going to be there again giving you my hard earned cash you lost business of 4 people tonight just for £15.00??? Good business men please continue with that principles to see how long you are going to survive? also prices very high but portions size and quality gone down to hill too high for Penge area? Offering London prices!”

  “Wow wow wow!!! 🤩 what a total local gem. This restaurant is a treasure! Mum & I walked to it last night. The welcome was really warm and the family couldn’t do enough to make us feel comfortable. We ordered a meal along with support from the gentleman who gave us suggestions and ideas based on what we said we liked. We were blown away by the quality freshness and taste of all the food served. It is freshly made and authentic and I can’t remember the last time I had food as good as this. We will definitely be back, the family that run this are just so pleased to have You in their restaurant, you are really made to feel special.”

  “The food is good. I opted for extra hot Himalayan mismas Karachi. It wasn’t extra hot for me but this may be due to my tolerance. The roti wasn’t what I expected but it was okay nonetheless. The seafood thali is divine and the portion size is generous. It could be enough for two. We ordered from their site - which is cash only - the delivery driver was friendly and pleasant. All the food came clearly labelled and the food was piping hot. The mango chutney is delicious.”

  “Have passed this restaurant many times and not paid it too much attention. However seeing inside yesterday with the windows open we looked at the menu and decided to try it this evening. Amazing food and service. We used to eat Indian at least once a week but it all became very similar and uninspiring. This has made us fall in love with Indian food again. Everything was a joy. We will be returning. Highly recommended.”

  “We booked a table and had a great time here. The restaurant is cosy, bit small you might call, but it’s something we love, small family business. The food was good. The veggie dumplings is not as I expected, having strong carrots flavour and bit dry. Will try the chicken/lamb next time I guess. Lovely experience.”
