Customer Review Summary

Reviewers return most for the ricotta hotcakes, described as fluffy and light, with honeycomb butter and caramelised banana singled out. Close behind are the scrambled eggs, which one diner says match the hype, and the poached eggs with avocado. Sweetcorn fritters, grilled kimchi cheese toast, chicken schnitzel, oat Bircher and the pavlova each get a mention, along with a rich, well brewed coffee and a coconut flat white with latte art. The large windows and sunlit room draw comment, and several describe friendly, attentive staff. The recurring caveat is cost and crowding. One reviewer found a bill of around £80 for two breakfasts, a pancake and two coffees expensive, while another calls it not cheap. The room fills quickly, and one party who could not book waited about 10 to 15 minutes for a walk-in table. One diner also notes the kitchen could not swap out the banana on the pancakes, so it arrived on the side.

“Beautiful place and lovely vibe. We went for the brunch. We could not get the booking but they were taking walk ins. We got a table after about 10-15 min of wait. Amazing food with lovely plating and flavors. Grilled Kimchi cheese toast was great so were sweet corn fritters and ricotta hotcakes. Pavlova was divine. Would happily go back. The place is pet friendly”

“What a lovely find in Notting Hill! Service was top-notch from start to finish, the staff’s recommendations were spot on, and the food quality was excellent - fresh, well presented and full of flavour. Will definitely be back. Highly recommend!”

“Ever heard the song Banana Pancakes by Jack Johnson? I think he wrote it about these pancakes! The ricotta hotcakes were so fluffy and delicious, might’ve been the best pancakes I’ve had. The avocado toast was fresh and the chicken schnitzel was crispy. 10/10 brunch”

“Had brunch on Saturday morning and was not disappointed. It’s fills up quickly so please try to get there early . You have a choice of vegetarian and non vegetarian menu . I had the avocado, side of toast with poached eggs ,fresh and good ingredients will never go wrong. What was most impressive was the ricotta pancakes with caramelised sauce and banana, it tasted moist but not wet, great texture paired with touch of syrup .”

“My wife wanted to visit for breakfast for along time and i decided to indulge her. We were a walk in, no booking as it was a bot spontaneous, there weren't many tables taken for 9:30 on Sunday morning. Food was excellent 👌 the famous scrambled eggs definitely live up to the hype, and the pancakes were fluffy and delicious. Everything was well cooked and nicely presented. Another mention is service was also great. Shoutout to our our server who was friendly, sociable and added an extra layer of personality to the place. The only reason I'm not giving it a full 5 stars is the value. While the quality was very good, i have been in alot of breakfast/brunch spots and i can't justify a bill that came to around £80 plus for two breakfasts, a pancake and two coffees, which i believe, felt a little expensive for what we ordered. Overall, a really enjoyable brunch in a lovely setting, just be prepared for Notting Hill prices.”
