About ET House Turkish Restaurant
ET House Turkish Restaurant is a Turkish restaurant in London, at 151 Fortess Rd, with a menu built around sharing. Its large "Plate 2" platter is made for three people and puts kebabs and rice alongside cold meze, so a small group can order one dish and share it. A separate cold meze and sigara boregi menu lets tables build a meal from smaller plates instead. Lamb shish is on the grill menu for those who want a single main. The kitchen also serves Turkish tea with the meal.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often praise the grilled meats, with the lamb shish named repeatedly, and one diner calls the grilled chicken a reasonable choice. Close behind are the sharing mezze platter, the soup, sigara boregi and Ali nazik, plus a large shared plate with cold meze, kebabs and rice that left leftovers for three. Portions are described as big or decent, and several mention friendly, helpful staff and a warm, relaxing atmosphere. One group enjoyed the mezze and mains but found the cocktails only ok. The caveats are modest. One reviewer wanted a little more lamb in the lamb shish, another found the quality not the best and a bit overpriced, and one felt for a single staff member covering the whole restaurant on a Saturday night. A recurring touch is staff checking in throughout the meal, with one group describing a team that explained the menu, gave directions from the tube station and moved tables to find a missing part of a handheld fan.

“On Friday 7th August I went for the first time to ET HOUSE with some friends (6 of us in total). Upon arrival the staff were mopping and cleaning the floor and they politely ask us to wait outside until the floor was dry which was fine as it was a warm summer evening. Once we were seated the staff team (3 in total) would check in on us to find out if and when ready to order. They were also very helpful in explaining the food on the menu. We had different views on the cocktails, overall they were ok!!! However we All enjoyed the sharing mezze platter and our main meals, good portions, nicely presented and great tastes 😋... the staff team would check in on us throughout to ensure that we were doing ok. They were also very helpful by giving my friend directions from the tube station and finding a missing part of my handheld fan by moving tables which I appreciated ☺️ We all had a lovely evening, great food and atmosphere 😊”

“Best meal I’ve had in years. SO flavorful. This is NOT your average Turkish restaurant. The staff are so lovely as well. The food is made with love and you can taste it!”

“Absolutely fantastic experience! The food was delicious, full of authentic flavours, and everything was cooked to perfection. The service was exceptional—every member of staff was warm, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely friendly. They made us feel looked after from the moment we arrived until we left. The atmosphere was lovely, making it the perfect place to enjoy a great meal. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be coming back!”

“We got the Plate 2 for 3 people and it was massive!! Definitely enough for three people, and we even had leftovers to take away. The meat was really juicy, and we enjoyed everything (Turkish cold meze, kebabs, and rice). We also visited with a TheFork offer, which made it really good value for money. Staff were okay.”

“Nice Turkish food, although could have done with just a little bit more lamb in the lamb shish. Service was good, but felt bad for the one girl doing everything by herself for the whole restaurant on a Saturday night.”
