Customer Review Summary

Burgers draw the most praise, with one regular singling out the Algerian Supreme and others describing chicken burgers full of flavour, paired with chips called not greasy and sauces that suit the meal. One reviewer also had karak chai after iftar. Food is described as fresh and hot, and several mention the quick, easy self-service screen, table service, and tables cleared regularly. The space is called clean and a good place to treat the kids on a weekend. Staff are described as friendly and helpful, including one who walked a first-time visitor through the ordering screen. The complaints centre on order accuracy and execution. One reviewer received tenders instead of wings and found the chips heavy with spicy seasoning. Another got one portion of chips for two meals and called a Nashville burger too oily, saying the same brand's Ilford branch was far better. One found the portions a little small. Reviewers also mention an app discount with a free burger reward, and a free ice cream and a free treat handed out by staff.

“Five stars for the incredible service at Bim’s Edmonton! It was my first time there with my Granddaughter, and the restaurant was clean and beautifully airy. After struggling with the self-service ordering screen for a few moments, a gentleman on the staff named Azeem came to my rescue. He was incredibly helpful, walked me through the menu, and showed me how to use the system for future visits. The table service was a fantastic touch, and the food arrived fresh, hot and ready to enjoy. We left ever so happy and will absolutely visit again, thank you, Azeem!”

“Your response is completely unacceptable. The fact that the food left your restaurant does not absolve Bims of its responsibility to ensure that the food it prepares and serves is safe, hygienic and fit for consumption. My meal arrived containing a dead fly. That is a serious food hygiene issue. Your claim that you are unable to determine whether the contamination was your fault simply because the food was delivered is both disappointing and irresponsible. Unless you have evidence that the food was tampered with after it left your premises, you cannot simply deny responsibility based on assumption. Rather than acknowledging the seriousness of a customer finding a dead fly in their food, you have chosen to distance yourselves from any accountability. That is unacceptable and demonstrates a concerning lack of responsibility for the food you prepare and supply. For transparency, I will also be sharing this experience, including photographs of the food and your response, across my social media platforms so others can see how Bims has handled a legitimate food hygiene complaint. I remain disgusted by both the condition of the food I received and your response to what should have been treated as a serious food safety concern.”

“I ordered 2 wings & chips and a wrap and churros. Then when I left the shop, I checked my wings & chips and it was 5 tenders instead of my normal order. Then I went back to the shop to report this mistake and get my correct order, however the rude worker had his ego struck for his silly mistake he committed and tried to yank the tenders out my hands. However I held back and showed him properly and he went to get my correct order, in the meantime a stranger came up to me and asked for a tender which I offered him because I was under the impression that i was keeping the mistaken order due to it already being contaminated. So the rude worker came back with the food and he dug into my bag to yank the tenders which I had neatly put away, just to take it away from me and throw it in the bin after giving me my correct order just because he felt hurt by his mistake and then he smiled to his co-worker. What made this whole situation worse was that when I went home, I ate my food and the chips were badly done with too much spicy seasoning, not allowing me to finish my food. And better yet he still gave me a tender instead of my 2 wings (1 wing & 1 tender).”
