  “There’s no way anyone can walk past the cake’s display here and not want some! Some really yummy bakes here - gorgeous chocolate cake, brownies and cannolis, my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our selection of treats. Super friendly staff with amazing service, every time. Recently went in again for a light lunch, ordered the pizza and salad which look amazing on display. But not so sure you could call what I ate “pizza” as it’s hard to find any cheese on it! Tasted really tomato-y. Very disappointing.”

  “Found this awesome spot looking for breakfast near our hotel. We were so impressed by the freshness of the food, service, selections. It was our breakfast place almost every day while visiting london event though our hotel had breakfast as well. Actually thinking we would stay in the area just so we can eat here again!”

  “Really nice atmosphere and selections although I didnt like all the desserts and felt they were slightly dry their cinnamon buns was delicious! They also have a sandwich and pizza section.”

  “Sorry, no pictures 🫣, the croissant with tomato and mozarella was to good to stop and take a picture first. The cinnamon role was also to good. Really enjoyed having my breakfast here. (Even with the picture frames the are not straight on the wall😉☺️”

  “We popped in recently for a coffee and cake, enroute to the Royal London Hospital. We were warmly greeted. Ordered at the counter and took a seat. Comfy seats but the tables were very close to each other. Once ready, we collected our coffee and pastry from the counter. There was no table service, as such. The coffee was hot but very mild in taste ( not much coffee for a cappuccino) and it was served in a non insulated glass. Like a traditional milkshake glass. Very odd and hard to hold until it cooled a little. We weren't sure why they dont just serve hot drinks in a mug or cup & saucer? We had the lemon cake. It looked delicious, as did the large selection of sweet and savoury offerings on view. Cakes, pastries, salads etc..However, the cake had very little lemon flavour. I couldn't eat it and believe me, I never leave cake! Really disappointed. Not the cafes fault but we class it as part of our 'experience'. We had a 'local' couple sitting next to us who were eating like they were starving and he was constantly coughing, without covering his mouth. They left the cafe at a similar time to us and we caught them throwing litter on the pavement, right beside an empty bin ! I picked them up on this and she then put the rubbish in the bin. Disgusting behaviour. By the state of the street outside, that looks like typical behaviour for people in this area. There are so many good cafes along this road, ones which we prefer. Unfortunately, we wont return here again but thank you, anyway.”

  “What a cracking wee place. The decor inside is not what you expect from the outside. Loved the colours, the lights, the books... Decent menu with reasonable prices. Half chicken was tasty, as we're the chips. Burger was good, if you don't like a touch of pink in your burger then this place isn't for you. Staff friendly. Only negative only 1 toilet for a fair few seats.”
