About Mukkebi
Mukkebi is a Korean restaurant at 152A Seven Sisters Rd in Finsbury Park, near Park Theatre. The room carries a wall display of instant noodles, called the "remans" wall, so the instant noodle range is on show for anyone who comes in. The menu runs from beef bulgogi served sizzling to Korean fried chicken, with hotteok for something sweet. Bibimbap with beef and beef rib soup cover the rice and soup dishes. Kimchi comes as sides, and the menu also includes some vegan options.

Customer Review Summary
Beef bulgogi is the dish reviewers return to most, with one describing the Osam Bulgogi arriving sizzling and another noting how the kimchi paired with the rice and bulgogi. Close behind are the Korean fried chicken and spicy chicken bites, followed by the corn dog, hotteok, bibimbap with beef and a beef rib soup one diner calls simple yet layered. Prices come up repeatedly as reasonable or great for London, and portions are called generous. Staff are described as friendly and attentive, and the wall of instant noodles and warm yellow lighting are mentioned as fun, cosy touches. The criticisms are few but specific. The sweet and sour fried chicken was hard and dry for one diner, another found the squid not worth ordering compared with the beef, one wanted the kimchi more fermented and sour, and one found the menu small. A diner with a nut allergy says the kitchen accommodated every allergy at the table, and one pair liked it enough to go two days in a row.

“I had a wonderful experience from the moment I walked in until the moment I left! The atmosphere is lovely, with warm yellow lighting that makes the whole place feel so cosy and welcoming. The wall covered with remans is such a fun and unique touch! A special mention to Monay, who was incredibly friendly and provided outstanding service. She made the whole experience even more enjoyable with her kindness and attentiveness. Everything felt great from start to finish. Definitely a place I’d love to come back to! Highly recommend! ❤️”

“The Korean fried chicken is amazing. The squid was not worth getting compared to the beef imo. The service was awesome, the owners are really nice. Also, the prices are really great. They are also accommodating to allergies. I had a nut allergy and my sister had more allergies and they accommodated all of it :)”
