  “What an absolutely lovely experience we had a few days ago! From beginning to end, we were really well looked after by one of the managers, I believe his name was Gabour. We decided to sit inside as the heat outside was absolutely unbearable, and The AC was a big plus! We had a couple of drinks and a Margarita pizza, which were both really good and reasonably priced. We spent an hour and a little bit more there, and what we really appreciated was that we never felt rushed. We could just relax, enjoy our drinks and food, and take our time. Overall, a lovely experience with great service, good food and a nice atmosphere. We’ll definitely be coming back. Thank you!”

  “The food was beautiful, barely a wait and very affordable. Our waiter, Giovanni, added to the lovely experience by being extremely informative due to my allergies and very accommodating. Had the best experience, will definitely come again :)”

  “Excellent everything, 6 stars!!! Best restaurant we’ve been to yet. Giovanni was our waiter, absolutely phenomenal, he was so pleasant and made excellent recommendations. We started with the Bruschetta, tomatoes were so fresh, it was a wonderful plate. We had the Bolognese (pictured) & Gnocchi for entrees, we each cleaned our plates! Delicious!! We finished with the nutella Bomboloni (pictured) also excellent!! Start to finish it was an amazing experience, not to mention the exquisite design of the restaurant! The wine & cocktails were great. Highly recommend 10/10. Very fairly priced for the quality & experience. Grazie, mille Giovanni & Isola!!!”

  “Givani I hope I wrote his name right is the best server I’ve met in my whole entire life. The service, greeting and he makes sure that everything is perfect is what you want to see in every restaurant. He was so attentive and deserves good recognition from the business. The starters were 10/10. The calamari was fresh not greasy light and cooked at the right amount. The aubergine small starter dish was chefs kiss. The margarita pizza just sends you back to Italy. The base was not overly doughy, perfect crust, tomato base was authentic. I loved everything and would definitely come here again!”

  “We had an absolutely wonderful dining experience at Giovanni, and a big part of that was thanks to our waiter, Giovanni. His service was truly exceptional and perfectly reflected the elegance and high standards of the restaurant. From the moment we arrived, Giovanni was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and professional. He made us feel comfortable and well taken care of throughout the entire evening. His knowledge of the menu was impressive, and his recommendations were spot on, enhancing our overall dining experience. He was always present when needed, yet never intrusive—striking the perfect balance of attentiveness and discretion. Giovanni’s warm personality and genuine hospitality added a special touch to our visit, making the evening even more memorable. The level of care and attention to detail he provided truly reflects the refined atmosphere of the restaurant. We absolutely loved the tiramisu, which was perfectly prepared without any alcohol, making it even more enjoyable for us. It was rich, delicate, and one of the best we’ve ever tasted. The coffee was also perfect and complemented the dessert beautifully, providing a flawless ending to our meal. We truly loved our experience at Giovanni and will definitely be returning again in a few days. A heartfelt thank you to Giovanni for making our visit so enjoyable. Highly recommended!”

  “I took my mother out to celebrate International Women’s Day. Initially we were offered a table for two in a rather cramped, high-traffic area, but after asking for corner table, the staff kindly accommodated us, which we appreciated. We started with a glass of white wine, while my mother chose a delightful coconut cocktail. For food, we ordered burrata to start, followed by ravioli and crab pasta for our mains. The burrata and ravioli were both excellent—fresh, well-balanced, and very enjoyable. Unfortunately, the crab pasta was somewhat disappointing. The menu described it as being prepared with hand-picked crab meat, apart from the impressively large crab shell placed on top of the dish, we struggled to locate any actual crab meet. While the shell certainly made for a dramatic presentation. Service was polite, though our waiter appeared somewhat tired and not particularly attentive throughout the evening. Overall, we still had a pleasant time, especially thanks to the comfortable seating and the opportunity to celebrate together. However, there is certainly room for improvement.”

  “Came for dinner and it was brilliant here! Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. We had a few waiters throughout the night who were all lovely, Santos was exceptional. Made the end of an already lovely day extra special! Accommodated a birthday and offered complementary limoncello and a “birthday dessert” Would recommend for the Italian lovers! Will deffo be back! Thank you.”
