  “⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a wonderful birthday celebration at Ambala Restaurant! 🎂❤️ First of all, a big thank you to Sunny for providing us with such a lovely place and making our birthday celebration so special. The atmosphere was really nice and welcoming. A special thanks to Zaffar for making such delicious and amazing food. Everything tasted wonderful and our whole family really enjoyed it! 😋🍽️ Also, thank you to Mahima and the entire staff for being so helpful, friendly, and attentive throughout our celebration.   “We Had a wonderful experience at Ambala Karahi Restaurant in Plumstead. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and full of flavour. The quality of the food was excellent, and every dish we ordered was beautifully prepared and tasted authentic. The service was also fantastic. Our waitress was very friendly, polite, attentive, and welcoming. She made sure everything was taken care of and helped make our visit even more enjoyable. Overall, a great restaurant with delicious food and excellent customer service. I would definitely recommend Ambala Karahi to anyone looking for tasty food and a lovely dining experience.   “We love Ambala so much. The food is so delicious, whether ordering for takeaway or in the restaurant. We usually order on Friday nights but yesterday decided to go to the restaurant and sit in. The service was lovely and the food was just as good as it always is. We will definitely be back!”

  “WOWW!! This place is unreal! The food, the service the vibe, bring your own drinks!! Everything about this place is exceptional. I would highly recommend their butter chicken, chilli paneer, cheese naan, mango lassi, mixed grills as well as their paneer dishes. I tried their food first at a party (I’ve attached the image below), and it was absolutely incredible, so it was only right I paid a visit. I’ll be back soon!!”

  “Had Indochinese, prawn noodles and chilli paneer. Unfortunately I was disappointed, as it was very sweet, it tasted like a dessert rather than a savoury dish. I appreciate that I didn't say something straight away. But I chose to let my partner try and eat some it and pay for it and give the left overs to a family member who likes desserts. Instead I chose to tell the man at the desk who served us, when paying for it about its sweetness at the end of the meal. He was very lovely about it and gave us a £2 discount for the food. And said that he will inform the kitchen about this. Hopefully when anyone else tries the Indochinese food it will not be a dessert for them. The sweet Lassi was very nice, a good balance of sweetness. The food was still sweeter though. The salad is very nice. Also unfortunately the Laccha paratha, wasn't flaky at all it was just a thick roti. I feel bad about not saying anything. But again I wasn't confident about confronting anyone. I'm sure they would have rectified it. I understand that I maybe should have done that. I just came from a 3 hour drive in the hot weather so I was tired. I just felt very disappointed as it was my birthday that day when I had that food. :( The samosas are world class though! But again when put into a samosa chatt, it tastes mostly of chana curry, that is where the sweet and sour should have been. But it wasn't. 🤦 But again I didn't say anything so thats on me. Also maybe the servers could ask if the food is good? As I would have said something if they asked how it was at the beginning of the meal, but they was no where to been seen. We was the only customers in the restaurant at the time.”

  “Ambala Karahi is easily one of my go-to spots whenever I’m craving great food. I regularly order their chicken noodles, tandoori chicken, and lamb dishes, and every single time the quality has been consistently excellent. The food is always fresh, full of flavour, and really satisfying. I’ve tried both collection and delivery, and they’ve been reliable with both — quick service and everything arrives just as expected. It’s rare to find a place that maintains such consistency, but they definitely do. I genuinely have no complaints at all. Highly recommended, and I’ve already suggested it to many of my friends!”

  “Booked a table at short notice today for a family of five. The service was very good, the waiter was super attentive and very accommodating. Made my sister feel very comfortable and happy considering she has a learning disability. They were super friendly towards her, engaging in conversation. The food was made so well, especially the tandoori roti. Definitely recommend”
