  “Had a wonderful experience here. The place is clean and smells great (i believe they had incense burning), and has a very cosy atmosphere. The beautician who did my Shellac pedicure was so lovely and did a great job! Will definitely be coming back.”

  “My experience at Nicky salon has been amazing! I was so scared of getting my eyebrows threaded, scared of pain etc, I have now overcome that fear with a pain free experience and am leaving with beautiful eyebrows and an exquisite manicure and pedicure. I highly suggest coming in! The service was lovely as well!”

  “I was very pleased with my shellac manicure that I had done. Loubna was very professional, had great attention to detail and did a great job! And this was even when I didn't have an appointment and just walked in to see if they could fit me in there and then!”

  “This my second visit to salon, I bought voucher from Groupon for manicure and pedicure for £24. First time I was very happy with the service that's why I came back. Today was different story. The manicure was done perfectly, thank you. The pedicure was done by another lady. She informed me that it will dry pedicure, I said "fine, ok". Basically it was just painting the nails, she even didn't do the form, it was done in 15 min. I don't understand why manicure was done properly and pedicure wasn't done. at all. I'm so upset that I wasted my time and money. Will never go back. Be aware when buying the voucher, it's misleading - not pedicure, just painting the nails.”

  “One of the best places I've ever visited to get a wax. Nicki is one of the best practitioners I've ever been waxed buy. Amazing lady, amazing service at a fraction of the price you'd pay elsewhere. Would highly recommend to others, do not go by what the negative reviews say. I've had a couple of treatments done from waxing, dermabrasion to an oxygen facility. Brilliant results. Thank you Nicki”

  “We agreed on a price when I made the appointment over the phone. When she was about halfway done with the treatment, she then told me that the price has actually gone up since... (the phone call and the treatment were only 2 hours apart btw so it's pretty infuriating) She then continued with the treatment because obviously, I couldn't just get up and leave half waxed when she said the new, higher price...She finished super quick -unfortunately... Terrible job, left LOADS of hair on, couldn't even be bothered to finish the job properly, just wanted to go home already as I'm pretty sure I was her last customer. Terrible experience overall, do not recommend them to anyone!! Will never ever return!”

  “I had an oxygen facial at Nicky's Salon by Nicky herself and it was hands down the BEST facial I've ever had! I wanted to try this particular facial as I'd heard so many positive things about it, but also heard just as much negative comments, in that it doesn't work and you won't see a real difference. Well, I truly believe it's the beauty therapist and not the treatment itself because I came out glowing! Nicky spent an hour on me, targeting wrinkles first then the rest of my face. I was meeting a friend just afterwards and I thought this would be a great test, to see if she would notice. I came straight out of the salon to my meeting, without any makeup nor doing anything to my face and the first thing my friend said was, "My God, you look really good without makeup! Your skin looks like a 30 year old!". I'm in my 50's. That was enough for me. I've booked a facial massage next week and am going to bring my boyfriend in as well. Again, it's not the treatment (but do try this facial), but the actual therapist that makes a difference. After years of searching for a quality beauty therapist in London, I've finally found one! And her prices are pretty good too, so I can get more treatments done. :-)”

  “I have bought a voucher from Groupon for Shellac Manicure and Pedicure for £24 which I thought it would be a proper Shellac Manicure and Pedicure but unfortunately it was even worse then express service and the outcome was a disaster. This by far the worst Shellac Manicure and Pedicure quality I ever used. I was going on holiday next day other then I would definitely go back to this salon to complain.The Shellac started to come off after I left the salon straight away and by the next day it started to come off even more and after just few days I was able to take it off in my bare hands!!! yes it was that much rubbish. I had to go to another salon in my holiday to do a new one. £24 might sound a good price for Shellac Manicure and Pedicure yet please don't think that you will get a proper one all you will get is an rushing and not professional Manicure and Pedicure using an old and expired products so please save your money (and may be pay little bit extra) to find a descent place to have a real Shellac Manicure and Pedicure.”

  “I wouldn't want to judge whether some reviews are false or blown out of proportion. I can say for myself that I just had the best full body massage in months. I've traveled extensively to know what's good, I feel the need to help clearing the name of Nicky Salon. Please don't feel discouraged by other negative reviews, explain to Nicky what you like and what your needs are, and she will make wonders. In these days, it's hard to find a beauty salon which is not a chain/corporate machine, where the staff genuinely cares about how you feel and don't over-market their services. A place you can truly relax. I am definitely coming back for more massages and facials, I hope Nicky will overcome these bad reviews and stand strong and tall. Nicky, thank you so much for your wonderful massages, see you soon.”

  “A fabulous salon in West Ken, I have been going here for years and wouldn't go anywhere else. Nicky and her beauticians always greet you with a smile and give expert threading, gorgeous facials and great massages. The atmosphere is welcoming and the ladies are polite and give time to their clients. They are knowledgeable and clearly enjoy what they do. I highly recommend Nicky and her ladies.”
