This is there attempts to cover up the state they left my hair in. There are no explicit photos in my review. My review is HONEST and a true account and the damage they caused to my hair took years to fix…. I came to see Luci Green because I was not happy with the way my hair colour turned out at my old hairdressers and saw the good reviews for Larry king. She initially placed a few face framing highlights in and did a gloss and told me to wait for 8 weeks before I came back for a full head of highlights. 8 weeks later I came back to see Luci and explained very clearly what I was looking to achieve with my hair again. I also triple checked that she would be making my hair blonder at the roots and underneath whilst leaving my natural hair colour in also so it wasn’t too solid. I had spent a year growing my roots out and getting the condition improved. Five hours later in the chair my hair is darker than when I came in. She has filled my natural hair that I was growing out with a permanent tint that I did not ask for or want, my hair is no longer blonde and she has spread an ash shade permanent tint over the majority of my head which does not blend with my warm base tone. The roots are a strange warm tone. The highlights in my roots are not even blonde and barely visible other than the face framing which has been bleached so much it now has breakage. Furthermore what highlights are in the rest of my hair have not been taken to the scalp and there is banding. You can see in the photo they look incredibly messy and unprofessional. I instantly noticed my hair condition had gone from soft and silky to straw like. I am absolutely devastated at what has been done to my hair, I’ve paid £520 (£360 for highlights and the rest for a cut) to have my beautiful long hair ruined. As you can see from the photos the cut is blunt and the layers are not soft and gentle like I asked, one side is more layered than the other and I’ve lost the whole look of the hair style I recognise. It now looks dated. I went back to get it fixed and could not believe the audacity of Luci when she professed that this is what I asked for. No one would spend this much money for their hair to look like this. Ever. She then went on to complain to me that she has booked time out of her schedule to fix it and what if I don’t like it again. Insinuating that I am the problem and that I should be grateful for her time. Perhaps consider that if I was listened to and my hair wasn’t damaged I would not have had to come back. After this I asked for my money back as my trust in the salon and the hairdresser was entirely gone. Thankfully the salons manager agreed to give me my money back but it doesn’t compensate for the fact my hair is now ruined and I cannot take back the time and effort I spent to get my hair in good condition. The first photo where I am holding my phone is of my hair before I went into the salon and the others are what it looked like after. Advice to salon - please LISTEN to your every day clients I am certain one of your celebrity clients wouldn’t get treated so poorly.. and if you are going to charge a premium then provide a premium service. If it goes wrong then do not gas light the customer and attempt to place blame on them. There is no denying in these photos that my hair has been damaged. I am so disappointed with this experience I would get 0 stars if it was possible. I thought my experience at my old salon was bad but compared to this they did a brilliant job. Do better.”
