Quick info
About Amazing Grace London Bridge
Amazing Grace London Bridge is a cocktail bar in London, on St Thomas St, set inside a Grade II listed church with live music every night. A singer and a band play in the evenings, and a DJ plays as well. The kitchen sends out Asian-inspired sharing plates, including Japanese Fried Chicken and Korean Potato Bites, while the bar pours cocktails and runs a happy hour. Downstairs holds the main bar, a dance floor and 3D projections. Upstairs, a mezzanine with its own private bar gives groups and parties a space of their own. The venue opens Tuesday to Saturday and welcomes walk-ins. Vegan options are on the menu.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out warm, attentive service, with several crediting one staff member for delicious drinks and for food recommendations they called outstanding. Another reviewer describes a sweet welcome and a great table upstairs. Live music comes close behind, described as smooth, fun and a bit chilled, though one diner preferred the band's acoustics the previous weekend. Food draws mixed reactions. The potato balls are called delicious, while one reviewer calls the food a little hit and miss and says to avoid the chicken wings. Vegan options are described as alright, and one reviewer suggests booking a table for less waiting around. The complaints concern pace and comfort. On a busy Tuesday, one anniversary visitor found two staff stretched thin, service slow, no air conditioning, and wine served in plastic glasses, though they did not blame the staff. Another waited a long time for cocktails ordered just before happy hour ended, then was charged full price for those last drinks.

“Had such a great experience at Amazing Grace! Sanjyot was so friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in. He made some really delicious drinks and you can tell he genuinely cares about what he does. The service felt warm and personal, and it made the whole visit even better. Thanks, Sanjyot—I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend Amazing Grace if you’re after great drinks and even better service!”

“This was my first visit to Amazing Grace, which was for our anniversary, and unfortunately I left feeling a little disappointed. I feel bad giving a lower review because the staff really weren’t at fault. The poor guy serving was practically on his own, with just another gentleman behind the bar, on what seemed to be a very busy Tuesday night. Unfortunately, the service was quite slow, so we weren’t able to stay as long as we had planned. There was also no air conditioning, which made it quite uncomfortable, and I have to admit that being served wine in plastic glasses is a bit of a no for me, especially for an anniversary evening. The singer performing that night was lovely and sweet, and I would have liked to hear more of him, but sadly we couldn’t stay. I’d be happy to give Amazing Grace if they allowed me to have a proper glass on a fully staffed evening with a bigger band. I think our experience was more down to the circumstances of the night than the staff themselves.”

“I had my 40th birthday at the amazing grace in Canary wharf, which was absolutely amazing. I had an idea of what I wanted and it exceeded my expectations. The staff were all amazing and extremely accommodating. Very attentive and the attention to detail was to notch. I would definitely recommend this place. The live entertainment was also a special touch too.”
