“The worst service I’ve ever had. At 6:30PM, 1hr 20m had passed at this point, so decided to give a call to the restaurant to ask how long the food would take. Before I had even said a single word, the lady was already shouting your food is on the way down the mic, no hello nothing. She proceeds to keep telling me she’s not shouting and even arguing with me about that. She wouldn’t even let me get a point across to the point where it became a shouting match. The icing of the cake is she gives the worst apology you can give someone and then abruptly cuts the phone. I decided to call her back because the level of customer service needed to be addresssed at the end she says “ fine if you’re not happy with our customer service go somewhere else”. Well I will, but this is why it’s a 3 star restaurant, not only this the food isn’t great. If it were possible to give -5 stars I would. This is beyond any experience I’ve ever Had at a restaurant - the poor service happened on the 31/01/2026 at 7:40-7:50pm. Order was at 6:30pm It’s now 8:08pm and still nothing.”

“Used to love Gah Shing it was our go-to Chinese spot in East London years ago. Visited again after 8 years and honestly, the food was awful. Chow mein and fried rice tasted super artificial, like chemicals instead of seasoning. Chicken satay had no satay flavour at all — just boiled chicken, tons of onions, and thick, horrible sauce. Feels like the place has changed hands. Whatever happened, the quality is completely gone. Worst Chinese food I’ve had in a long time. Won’t be going back.”
