  “We visited The Locals Chelsea for a Valentine’s Day brunch and ordered the ox cheek egg benedict from the special menu — and it was genuinely one of the most unique brunch dishes I’ve had. I’ve had brunch in nearly 100 different places across Europe, but I’ve never seen egg benedict served with slow-cooked (6-hour) ox cheek, layered over beautifully toasted bread brushed with garlic butter. It was rich, indulgent and incredibly satisfying. A very creative and well-executed dish. The seasonal Valentine’s menu overall looked thoughtful and delicious, with plenty of appealing options. A small note: the winter tea could have been particular in flavour, and the plates of cups felt slightly large for the table size. Also, our table was reserved for 75 minutes — which felt a little tight, especially as we would have loved to stay for dessert. Extending reservations to around 85–90 minutes for brunch would make the experience even more relaxed, though I understand table turnover may be necessary during busy periods. Overall, a memorable dish and definitely a place we would return to try more from the menu.”

  “Had an amazing brunch at here! A special shout-out to Karolina, who was incredibly warm and friendly—her dessert recommendation was absolutely perfect. We also loved the flatbread with feta, which was so refreshing, and the crispy cauliflower was a delightful surprise for us. Highly recommend this spot for the food and the vibes!”

  “Hands down one of the best brunch spots in Chelsea. As someone who really appreciates bold flavours and proper seasoning, I was genuinely impressed everything was perfectly balanced, fresh, and full of taste (not bland at all). You can tell real care goes into the food. Friendly staff, great energy, and a place where you actually feel looked after. I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommended 👍🏽”

  “Nice local cafe in a community. Good vibe and large space. Seems to be all regulars coming w family or friends. Good place to meet up. The food and drinks themselves are not impressive. Especially the eggs on toasts — too simple and toasts are cold and tastes old.”

  “The Locals Chelsea, has a great atmosphere great food with an extensive menu but also not being too overwhelming. The price point for Chelsea is actually very reasonable. The folded eggs are very good. But the star of the show is the matcha pancakes! Staff are very friendly.”

  “Lovely brunch place located in Chelsea we ordered the flatbread with parma ham and the feta avocado toast, it tasted amazing. The matcha chai latte was very comforting. service and atmosphere were nice and they even give you blankets outside for the cold. Would highly recommend!”

  “Such a hidden gem in Chelsea! I went in the afternoon and the atmosphere was so calm and peaceful, the kind of place that gives cosy cafe energy without the noise or rush. Even though it’s a super cute and aesthetic, it honestly felt like a little haven for introverts or anyone who just wants to enjoy their food in peace. The greenery and rustic interior made it feel even more relaxing. Now let’s talk food… The matcha pancakes were everything! 😍 Fluffy, light and topped with fresh berries and edible flowers, it was 11/10. I also loved that they weren’t overly sweet, just the right balance of flavour. The breakfast plate was good too, just needed a bit more seasoning, it’s still very filling and nicely presented. The service was great too, welcoming, friendly, and quick. Also love that they offer halal options, which made the whole experience even better! 👏🏼”

  “Popped into this cute brunch spot in Chelsea and was pleasantly surprised! We ordered the lemonade, chicken sandwich with fries, and buttermilk pancakes – and honestly, it hit all the right notes. The lemonade was super refreshing – not too sweet, with a nice citrusy tang that felt homemade rather than overly sugary. A perfect start. The chicken sandwich was the star of the show. Tasty, juicy, and full of flavor, with just the right amount of seasoning. The sourdough bread was toasted but held together well, and it came with a little kick from the sauce, which I loved. The fries on the side were golden, crunchy, and piping hot – basically everything you want in good fries. We finished off with the buttermilk pancakes, and they were fluffy, buttery, and served with just the right amount of syrup. Not too heavy, but still indulgent – ideal for a weekend treat. Service was nice, and the vibe was relaxed but stylish, with just the right amount of buzz for a late morning brunch. Definitely one of those places you’d want to come back to – whether you’re catching up with friends or just treating yourself.”
