About Cafe On The Hill
Cafe On The Hill is a London cafe at 91 Brixton Hill, working from a menu of 95 dishes that covers breakfast, brunch and a Mediterranean dinner. The morning menu includes an English Breakfast and a Mediterranean breakfast. For dinner, the kitchen turns to mezze dishes and mains, with seafood that includes a sea bass fillet. Reviewers most often single out the breakfast, with the English Breakfast described as tasty and served warm, and a Mediterranean breakfast called a treat. One reviewer enjoyed a salty and sweet plate, and the kitchen swapped the avocado for another item because of an intolerance. Close behind is the newly added evening menu, which several regular breakfast visitors welcome. Diners name the grilled lamb shoulder, sea bass fillet and prawns, calamari, and Greek salad as delicious, alongside signature cocktails and mocktails described as really good. Coffee and peppermint tea also get mentions. Staff are repeatedly called friendly, welcoming, and attentive, and several describe food as fairly or reasonably priced. No recurring complaints appear. One couple says they have visited over 30 times without being disappointed, and another reviewer says the staff helped them choose when everything on the menu looked appealing.

“Absolutely amazing!! I had a fabulous breakfast with the perfect balance of salty and sweet, and yes, it really works so well together! I’m not the best at taking photos, but I can guarantee it looked even more delicious in reality! They were also very accommodating and happy to swap the avocado for another item due to my intolerance. Top service as well!”
