  “Best place for breakfast/ brunch ! Friendly staff, super clean place to eat and amazing food. You can have traditional breakfasts or/ and pancakes and pretty much choose whatever you want. Also plenty of halal options also. The fresh fruit is a lovely touch. Will definitely return.. such good value for money too. Loved this place... well worth a visit ♥️”

  “This was amazing. First time coming here and I was surprised. The halal breakfast was amazing, hash browns perfectly crisp. Beans were succulent and sausages cooked to perfection. Sausages were the definition of perfect. The pancakes were good and very filling. My only criticism is possibly to add better fruits like berries and possibly a French toast option. A French toast with the berries and the breakfast would be the best meal on earth. Would be a 10/10. Please if possible French Toast and berries with maple syrup would make this the perfect breakfast but apart from that amazing food.”

  “First time visiting Star cafe & I really enjoyed it! I ordered the halal meal, it tasted very yummy. The only thing I’d say is that the pancakes were a tad bit dry other than that everything else was perfect! Customer service was excellent, the 2 ladies who served us were very welcoming! Loved the pineapple smoothie definitely will be back!”

  “Was recommended this place and had high expectations. I ordered the halal pancake 2 option. I have to say the food came very fast which was great. However, the eggs, beans and burger were cold and very basic so wasn’t the greatest of breakfast experiences I’ve had. Additionally you can tell they had frozen ingredients. The hash browns were the best thing on the plate which is upsetting as the presentation had me excited to clean the plate. If you’re looking for a local option then it’s alright however if you're after quality I’d recommend a place such as affagato in Norbury.”

  “Today I had the pleasure of dining at Star Cafe, and I can't say enough good things about this hidden gem. I ordered from the vegetarian menu and chose the falafel plate, which came with scrambled eggs, beans, florals, hash browns, fruit, toast, tomatoes, and a cup of coffee all for such a cheap price. The value for money here is unbeatable! The atmosphere is wonderfully unique, with positive vibes radiating from the quotes on the walls. One that stood out read, “Don’t take life too seriously, nobody gets out alive anyway.” It’s the kind of thought-provoking message you wouldn’t expect to ponder while waiting for your food but somehow fits perfectly with the cafe's laid-back, uplifting vibe. The service was top-notch; it felt like being served by family. The staff was incredibly fast and attentive, even though the place was busy. The entire cafe was spotless, and the food presentation was simply unbeatable—definitely more than you’d expect for the price. With everything under $10, it’s a steal! The menu caters to everyone with options for all vegetarian and halal matters, which is a great bonus. Just a quick reminder this place is cash only, so make sure you have some cash on hand. I'm genuinely surprised that Star Cafe doesn’t have more reviews because it deserves way more than 5 stars. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food, fantastic service, and an atmosphere that makes you rethink life in the best way possible.”
