About Burger And Chop

Burger And Chop is a hamburger restaurant at Colour factory in London, where orders go in from the table via QR code, so there is no need to queue at a counter. The bacon and blue burger, also called the stilton and bacon burger, puts stilton and bacon on one bun. The cheeseburger comes single or double, and either can be ordered as a meal with fries and a drink. Chicken fillet burgers cover the menu for those who prefer poultry to beef. Dogs are welcome.

Customer Review Summary

Reviewers most often single out the burgers themselves, with the bacon and blue, the stilton and bacon, and the pastrami version each praised for flavour, and the beef described as good quality. Close behind are the sides: spicy fries, hash brown bites and tender boneless chicken pieces earn compliments, though one reviewer found the fries hollow and like cardboard. Complaints are mixed and specific. A couple of diners found burgers overcooked or buns burned, and one described dry, watery chicken fillets that tasted fried in old oil. Ordering by QR code draws criticism, with one reviewer saying staff were clueless and the toilets poor before leaving without eating. Seating is tight in the container setup, one says, and another felt the burger alone was pricey. One reviewer was told the kitchen couldn't afford a pot of ketchup and salt.

“These guys deserve a better rating! Pretty tasty burgers, the stilton and bacon one has great flavour and texture. Be great if they got their own Shop soon”

“The bacon and blue burger is definitely one of the best burger in London hands down. The opening hours too, there is very little option at this time of the night in London, so for that alone 5 stars. The only problems are: 1. The place runs from a container is hackney wick, so if you want to seat down or go to the bathroom it's not a lucky day, you will have to get into the mix, sometimes there are free benches outside and it's great, but on a weekend for instance god knows what's up in there. 2. If you're ordering online - as any other burger shop - you will need to make sure you order from somewhere close to your house, otherwise it might not travel well or you might be in a double delivery situation, etc. be aware. Never been mistreated or had a burger from here.”

“Awful. QR Code ordering useless. Not told of other options. Staff clueless. Toilets would not be highly rated in a 3rd world country. Left without eating. A sorry experience we will not repeating or recommending.”

“No one there no instructions on what to do. Went at night. The guy at wicked fish was nice enough to help. My review is based on my previous home delivery. Cheers burger and fries are absolutely awesome 💖”

“Had burger and chop at Colour Factory. The double cheeseburger was overcooked unfortunately but still nicer! Everything arrived hot, chips & hash brown bites were stunning. Vegan burger was also really nice. What threw me off was the guy being weird about me asking for ketchup and salt… saying they couldn’t afford it. I paid around £40 for this meal…. surely they can afford to give me a pot of (unbranded) ketchup???? Would eat it again :)”
