Customer Review Summary
Rosemary chips and the burgers draw the most praise, with reviewers singling out the Truffle burger, the double smash burger and a Fried Chicken Cajun BBQ as juicy, crispy and cooked to order. Friendly, quick staff come up repeatedly, and one coeliac diner valued the extensive gluten free menu and shared onion rings. Close behind is a heavy run of complaints about the kitchen, mostly on delivery orders. Several report burgers arriving burnt, or pink when ordered well done, and cold chips with no rosemary. One reviewer describes an undercooked burger followed by days of worry about food poisoning, and another reports flies in a green salad. A vegan burger was called tiny and plain, and a plant order that arrived as meat burgers was still unrefunded after six weeks, according to that reviewer. Some call it pricey, though one felt the quality justified it. One reviewer named the coleslaw as the best part of an otherwise burnt order.

“Reluctant to criticise the quality of their food but organisational chaos in the kitchen means they usually get at least one item wrong or forgotten. Had been happy to quietly ride with that until our last order when meat burgers were delivered instead of plant as ordered. My partner and son ended up eating their first mouthful of meat in 15-20 years before realising….as the manager said it’s a huge mistake and for some people would be incredibly traumatic. After six weeks still waiting for a refund despite repeated promises. I quite like what they’re trying to do but that level of error is just not tolerable - hence this review….would welcome a reply from honest burgers if they see this.”

“Party of three. Not too busy when we were in. Im a coeliac so the extensive gluten free menu is a big plus. Food superb. Burgers, chips and shared onion rings all 10/10. Friendly staff. Decent wine.”

“I ordered two meals. And both asked for the burgers to be well done and they was absolutely pink. The chips was dry cold no rosemary. Poor effort in comparison to the one in central London. Very disappointed.”

“I ordered a burger from here and it was extremely undercooked. I only realised half way through eating it and left me worried about food poisoning for several days afterwards. Very disappointing. The fries were okay though, hence the 2 stars”

“Very nice spot and very friendly and efficient staff, however I am quite dissapointed with my order since it ends up being expensive for what it is. I had the vegan burger with the rosemary fries on the side, and while it looks great on paper, the real deal wasn’t quite the same thing. The fries are a bit stale and tasteless, and the burger is tiny and also not super tasty. It was a bit plain and tasteless sadly. Can’t speak for the other burgers though.”
