About Bronson's Burgers Hackney
Bronson's Burgers Hackney is a hamburger restaurant in London, at 169 Mare St. Burgers are the main item, made with free range, grass fed beef from the Yorkshire Dales that is dry aged for 35 days. The kitchen makes its own soft serve and hand spins it into the milkshakes. The menu includes a burger called The Convict and a chicken burger called the Hot Chick, with fried chicken listed alongside. Fries come in more than one style, including paprika chips. For a soft drink, the restaurant serves a premium cola in place of a standard cola brand. The kitchen is open, so customers can see the cooking from the counter.

Customer Review Summary
Juicy, flavorful burgers are what reviewers return for, with "The Convict" named as one favourite and the hot chick and fried chicken also mentioned. Several praise the beef as free range and not a preformed meat brick, and a few say orders stayed hot and on time through delivery and pickup. Chips draw the most complaints. One long-time customer repeatedly received uncooked chips, though a later visit brought them much crispier, and another found them cold and borderline undercooked. The paprika chips were called surprisingly spicy, and one reviewer disliked the "premium cola." One reviewer reports chipping a tooth on bone fragments in a patty. Another describes rude staff who gave a dirty look when asked for sauces, a dirty bathroom, and portions that felt overpriced. Several note the dining area seems empty, while another found it calm. In one account, a delayed delivery ended with the restaurant sending freshly made food across.

“Really good burgers and friend chicken. We had Bronson’s burger 3 times in one week we were in London. Once at location at twice through Uber Eats. Even when delivered the food was hot and tasty. Totally recommended 👍🏼”

“I have just chipped my tooth eating one of your burgers. My patty was absolutely riddled with bones, I had 3 fragments in my patty. Probably would’ve been more if I continued eating. I lost my appetite after that, absolutely gutted as I spent a lot of money on dinner for myself and my family. Icing on the cake was the chips were also cold and borderline undercooked. Please do better.”

“TLDR don't order from here A long time customer, these people are clearly fresh off the boat and have no concept of what constitutes "Chips" they are unable to use a fryer and microwave their chips. burgers are 10/10 but damn, how hard is it to fry some chips. __ I have never seen this place open for dine-in customers. Update I've seen it open but never with customers lol. I have ordered food here multiple times they make the best burgers around. Unfortunately, they are unable to cook chips, which is kinda odd considering they must spend multiple hours a day doing this. I'm at a loss for how many times I've had uncooked chips it's rather disappointing. Update; I've been here in person a few times and the guys always seem surprised to see a wild person appear, the food is still quality and delicious, ive ordered them a few times and the food has been in a more edible state, fries were much crispier idk how they did it”

“5 stars isnt enough. We absolutely love their burgers after discovering them. The issue is we live far away! So we ordered burgers and were looking forward to them, after uber finally got a delivery driver after a looonngg delay - we had a call from the driver to say "the restaurant would like to send across freshly made food, since it took a while to find a driver, do you mind waiting for 5 minutes while they prepare it" Honestly, outstanding service. Thank you Bronsons, Hackney branch. Exceptional service. You will be getting a lot more of our business and referrals to friends!”
